i see becuase since the boost doesn't build its not running as hot and running cold= more power it all makes sense. Red2.4 gives all gto owners a horrible name and reputation

i would not say that when you are only running exhaust on your ion, they have more than enough power to run circles around you. They are very fast stock and a nice measuring stick to see how far i have come

They make descent power but weigh to much. I have raced and beaten a ls1 camaro z28 and those weigh less then the goat.

When I raced the camaro I had a 2.8 tune, 42# injectors and some other bolt ons. I raced my buddies 02 camaro ss with the slp package. and he walked me. He had some motor work done though.

This was the race im talking about.

yeah the 01's and 02's are faster due to different heads (241) they flow a little better, a different cam and the ls6 intake

Its deffinetly doable. If you look at the power to weight ratio we need about 250 Hp to keep up with a maro.

We were on the freeway doing 60-120 pulls and we stayed pretty even till about 95 then he would pull on me hard. We did many runs and the outcome was the same.
