LSJinTN go check out my post in the other thread above this one about the GTO. I was trying to gain some respect and give some insight on when I chime in, its stories like yours on why I/other's like me chime in. Actually, its almost to the T as I used your example of pulling a Z28 with a drop in filter. An 02 is the strongest ones they made before discontinuing them using the LS6 intake manifold and putting down 310+ easy. Z28's were lighter in most cases then the SS's and a 6 speed was the most fearsome version of the car. A stock auto LT1 would have been able to pull your car yet for some reason you say you pulled the top dog version to a 100. Ok, to everyone that has seen some of my posts I only chime in when claims like that are made. You are what, lucky to trap a 100? maybe 98 ish? He would trap about 107+. 35 in a 6 speed is about that boarderline spot for those cars for being dead. Even in 2nd though it would be tah tah.
Anyways to the original poster, awesome car you got there and congrats on the kill. 85MPH in the 8th equates to a right around a 13 flat in the 14 with good traction and down low power. To LSJinTn, i dunno. Tyler

Yes. From a dig he would get me everytime but from a roll I would beat him. I also ran another friend's with exhaust, intake, some sort of chip, and auto tranny mods, little stall and shiftkit, some small fuel mods too. He didn't have his DRs on and I got a car on him by 100-110. With his DRs on it was death. I am also on 205 tires though with a lil more meat on the ground I wouldn't have won but he wouldn't have pulled 3 cars either. I don't know why you laugh I am waiting for my first ls2 kill. It is gonna take more than a nice interior and 400 crank hp to run too far away from me and he better know how to drive his car. I see you own a GTO. I should have know not to diss the all mighty lsx cars on a car forum. Silly me I don't know what got into me. I know the lsx motors are forged in heaven and hand built by the big man himself to strike fear in every 2/4 wheel machine on the street and track. I have not gotten a ls2 kill yet because none of their owners know how to drive, at least that is what they tell me. I guess they don't want a neon to keep up. I am sure you will post the countless times you killed an SRT-4 and maybe you did but don't tell me I can't keep up with one.

v8's always win no matter what, I just watched a stock LS1 and LS2 GTO rape a veyron on my way home tonight. Veyron owner was pissed, he was tellin me that he's thinking of doing the LS1 swap next weekend cuz the thing never loses, NO MATTER WHAT.

I can vouch for his mods and the credibility of this story. I don't ever come on here claiming that stuff because as always

haha people call bs its funny. i told you guys i trap over 86mph in the 1/8th so take a guess... everything besides meth and piston's get over it if you don't think the almighty ls1 can't be beat. i have beat every ls power vechicle so far 1 ta 2 gto's (ls1's) tbss, and impala ss

LS1 f-bodies only hang with LS2 GTO's in the 1/8 the 1/4 usually belongs to the GTO. From a roll a LS2 can easily take a LS1 F-Body. A LS2 GTO traps 2-3mph higher than a LS1 F-Body. I would know I had 2 LS1 F-Bodies before my GTO.

I had a 00 SS with full exhaust, complete ram air intake, new tune with injectors, and some other minor mods and I raced an LS2 from a roll of about 45-110 and I had the GTO by literally 2 feet. Stock he would have mangled me.
