I had 20's on my 95 Z and yes, I agree w/ john, they are heavy. Mine weighed in at 61lbs each. For the strip, it got the 16's put back on.
Second, John is going to rape that cobalt, and a dig is the only way to race the 1/4mile.

98 and up camaros and t/a's all had ls1's. Pre 98 were the lt1's

i'll say this, i raced a ws6 ta at the track last year. i hade stg 2,intake, and exhaust. i got him at th 60' and 1/8 .he then started to pull away.but i still only lost by .4 seconds...
(ill look 4 th slip) i was on his bumper.with a good driver th cobalt can win

So your saying your not a good driver by your analogy you just said. I have been looking for stage 2 cobalts. The only other one in town claims his spec 3 clutch is starting to go out. I would gladly race another one if I could find one within a 40 minute drive that wanted to race to prove my findings. Like I said only thing not stock on me is my gear ratio in my rear end and tune. Also what year ws6 since they have made them 20 years?

Alright heres the verdict:

The bet was If I stay within 7 cars of him I get a ricer pic of him pointing at his rims like a retard.
If he beat me by more than 8 I had to come on here and claim all cobalts suck.

The videos will be up by tomorrow if not tonight depending if John can do it or not.
Heres the deal.
We had two cameras, one for each car.
We had the place to ourselves for almost 2 hours and ran at least 7 times and screwed around driving each others cars for awhile.

First race he gets me by 2 to 3 as the video says.
Second race by one or two.
Third he says he didn't launch right but I pulled one and a half on him and held to the end winning by a half and that was past the 1/4 mile still going and had to be almost 1/2 a mile.

We then did rolls at 30
each roll I'm at the top of 1st gear trying to keep my power band and as soon as he hit I would bounce right of the limiter which means he won the first by 5
second he got 2
Third I held one on him tell 4th gear then he started pulling on me but only got up a half before we ran out of room and slowed down. So I one that by a half.
Fourth the damn limiter again caused me to lose by 3 or 4.

We then drove each others cars and had a great time. The whole event made the cost of Stage 2 worth it.
Oh and when John post the video the last one we filmed we were in the Trans Am and I make a shout out to cobaltss.net
And then **** John off with a statement he'll hopefully not edit out.
