Where I live we're starting to see a tremendous amount of RHD cars imported from Japan. The reason for all these imports is that I live on the West coast, the place where the majority of Japanese container ships dock. As you can imagine there are a lot of wierd looking RHD vans and other strange contraptions bopping around town..

Anyway... I'm going down the freeway (it's a crisp 0 degress celsius - no ice) and I roll by what I thought to be a 240sx - dime a dozen around here which I don't even bother with. Well I notice that me and the driver are staring face to face, it's odd when you come up on a RHD car... We give each other akward glances and I preceed to punch it a bit to let him now im game..

He's about 1.5 cars behind me and I can see the front end dip as he gets on it. Instantly I mash downshift to 3rd and get on it hard as ****. His front end reaches my door and I slowly start to make gains up to about 3 car lengths when we shut down.

He tried this one more time with the same results and eventually gave up. At first I wasn't sure if he was turbo, I was much too focused on the road to be listening for a BOV. I saw his car in the parking lot the other day and sure enough there was a boost gauge on the a-pillar. Also he had a web address on his car so I looked it up, this is his car:

I don't believe it has an upgraded turbo, but I know it is a SR20DET.

I am very happy with the results of my car..

Thanks brotha and ya know it was cool cause we didn't go to insane speeds, it was a bit over the speed limit but we both shut it down when the outcome was clear... I get no satisfaction from those guys who fly by ya doing like 140km/h+
