Run in with an SRT-4
The following was all computer generated...
So I am driving along going south on this road just chillin following an M3 (until he started driving like he was drunk) when all of a sudden I see this SRT-4 pull out from a side street of a warehouse building. I am thinking ah if only he was going my way ... well aparently he was. The SRT-4 was a few cars back stuck by the speed patrol of cars driving slower than the limit but eventually he go free and followed me. We both just cruised along until we came to a stop light.
Now I was in a left turning lane and so was he only he was going to be 3rd during the left turn while I was first. I thought let's see if he wants to run. traffic was crazy light and when it came time to turn there was literally noone in front of me for miles. I pulled out slowly taking a huge turn onto a 3 lane street (6 lanes if you include the other side seperated by a huge median that could be a driving lane by itslef). I got into second thinking he was going to go slow so I was going really slow then all of a sudden I hear his loud exhaust and see him zip right by me blowing off his bov coaxing me to try and run him as he passed by. He was going really fast for some reason so I had to catch up with him a little bit and I saw I was already in need of going to 3rd as well.
I pulled right next to him then he slowed a bit and then stomped the gas and bolted almost instantely and I thought uh whoa and slammed my gas as well. He only stayed ahead (he was just at my front bumper) for a short while as I started quickly pulling him in. By about 5500~ rpms I was already slightly ahead him (his front end was at my door) and still pulling hard then I started walking away and by the time I was ready to go into 4th I had roughly 1 car more or less (objects in mirror are closer than they appear?).
We slowed down and he gave me a thumbs up and we proceeded to drive normally coming back down on speed. When we go to the next light I asked "what are you running" he says "stock turbo 18lbs. front mount a couple other things and toys on pump" (it was just after work and race fuel is far from where we were). He asked the same and I mentioned stage 2 with intake/exhaust and he was like cool. Content with the victory I just stayed behind him in traffic until we both had to stop (man that exhuast those things have is LOUD).
All of a sudden I see this cop next to me and I am like uh wtf and just looked forward as the cop looks over my car. Traffic moves forward in that lane and the cop looks over the srt-4 and the driver was like WTF and was looking around wondering how a cycle cop was next to him outa the blue and as the lane moved again the srt-4 guys looks in his side mirror and I gave him the let's go tumbs up and he started laughing and revved up his engine and the exhaust got super loud and the cop was like where is that coming from, guess he didn't think a 4 banger could make that kinda sound.
We broke out of traffic and we went our seperate ways and now im home wondering how modified was he and what would be the equivalent of the mods he had as far as stages go for srt-4's?

I love how I was able to keep up with a 2003 SuperCharged Cobra (390hp stock). I had my car re-tuned on 110 leaded gas and it pulled like a ****!

well I just got home cus I took off and yeah I woulda liked to see his setup but traffic wouldn't allow for that unless we wanted to be stranded for a while. he had an agptuning sticker if that helps anyway. And yeah it would be cool to race you orlandoech I wouldn't mind at all I hear your slow is that true? lol jk with yah. But yeah I mean there isn't much I can go on aside from what he told me and I don't like to think he was lying though you kinda have to take stuff like that with a grain of salt. Had we gone from a slower speed I am sure that gap woulda been even bigger.
