Smoked A Cooper S Today!
Yea this goes out to Speedy Coop who was in the car with me! This was not in the cobalt it was in my slow ass POS Lexus ES300! haha. We were cruisin and this convertible mini S was haulin ass so I slowly closed the gap. Anyway we caught a light and it was an older dude... well atleast in his 50's with grey hair and HUGE glasses.. haha. but we both took off. The dude was so into it just Power shiftin through gears like a mad ************! So I stomped that **** and took him by like 3/4 - 1 car! haha it was sweet!

yea sweet. race my mini cooper s and see what happens.
btw he wasent riding out the gears, you could tell cause he shifted into 3rd around 45-50 mph. the 2nd gear in that car rides out to 68mph with the factory set 6800rmp limiter.

Haha yea the amazing Gay Pride Mini! The huge spoiler on the back the 19" wheels... well the wheels are decent looking but I dont like the fact that there are NO options on the GP mini. They all come in one color and are exactly the same! GAY! But Mini's are indeeed road race and autocrossing cars! Light, short wheel base. they handle like a damn go cart! But my buddy has a very fast ******* mini but its set up for autocross and its ****** insane!

drag racing a mini is like fishing with a prostitute, its fun but not what you paid for
better built car than the cobalt, hate to say it. (btw im not bashing balts, but american made cars dont have the same quality of a european car) guess it all depends what you want a car for. if i wanted to drive fast in a straight line id buy an american car. if i want to drive fast around corners id buy a european car.
there is a reason there arent any options. it is because its a limited edition factory prepped track car. if you want options get a non-gp. as for the color thing, that is because they want them to stand out and be different. dont forget they have red side mirrors too. and my mini being ******* fast...its only fast around corners....and when you exceed 80mph.(gotta love european gearing )

P.S. I have lost count of how many times I have taken my Balt to the strip. I believe it is how people drive their vehicles on a daily basis that causes a large amount of the problems. Example: A friend of mine has a STI which is none for pretty decent quility. He still tore up his center diff. from repeated track and street abuse. Lucky for him it was covered or it would have cost him a pretty penny. I on the other hand have had my balt for almost as long, taken it to the strip about as many times but I rarely street race which may be saving me thus far.

think of all the fun you could have in a Mini if it was RWD...
on a side note, there is a local guy around here that has an old school Mini with a Honda motor in it...I believe its a GSR motor with a Type R head or something to that effect.
