so im officially an idiot...as i spent some time in the clink friday night...got arrested in huntersville for doin 91 in a 55 actually was doing 80 when i saw the cop and he went to turn around but had to wait for traffic to pass him so i figured i had a shot at getting away...down shifted and went for it....but no such luck he pulled me over two miles down the road and took me in for speeding and reckless driving, bail was set at 800$ and trial date is set for july 27th hopefully i can get a good lawyer and ill be able to keep my liscense but i dont think its likely that will happen. bye bye liscense

that happen to me on thursday. well something like that. i was turning onto my street and a cop was comeing off of my street and he said i took the turn to fast and almost hit him when i was never even near him. so i got a court somine for reckless driveing.

bye bye license dude i got a 73 in a 40! i lost mine now that i got it back they want to take it again for some reason! i got pulled over and a ticket from a bike cop saying i was doing 15 over lol i was actually doing the speed limet know i have a court date this thursday and a hearing on the 24th

Yes sir you have finally qualified for that title. Hope it gets better from here. Plead for mercy from the judge and if there are any defensive driving courses in your area take them now. Perhaps that will help leesen the suspension.

Yeah thats a really stupid thing too do.

I had a friend with a 350z he was doing 75 in a 45. Passed a cop and went for it. Flew thru a neighborhood saw an open garage and pulled in (someone elses garage). Turned out the guy garage was a local sheriff. He came out as the trooper was passing his house and flaged him down. I dont talk to him anymore so I dont know if hes gotten his license back yet. Although a comical story, its still pretty stupid thing to do...

I hear the criticisms from everyone. But all have us have went 30+ over the limit in our rides. But just can't outrun cops cause most of them don't care about anything but catchin people. Let's take it easy on him & let him learrn from his mistake. Most of us would try it if we though we could get away with it.

True... but the place and time have a lot to do with reaction.... I have gone very fast in my car on highways... and once on a city street but that was incredibly stupid and I will not do that. But it is a matter of common sense.

Even if a cop sees you going ***** out on the highway... if nobody is around it will probably be nothing.

The best policy is to immediatly pull over and be very compliant. Most of the time they will cut you some slack if you don't give them any hassle.

I was doing 78 in a 55 and got a warning. IMMEDIATELY pulled over, as far as humanly possible. Windows down, engine off, hat off, hands ten and two, was extremely polite. Nice guy just wrote me a warning...

lol i pulled over right away and ended up getting arrested hahaah now the cops wait for me to leave for work in the morning and radar me ever single day i smiled at him one day and the bastard followed me till i got on the highway i want to take a safe driving class to get the license to look better i dont have alot of points but thepoints i have are bad ones!!!! and i get **** from every cop that pulls me over good luck with ur license dude i hope u get to keep it

I have done some stupid **** in mine...last weekend I took her to the max, and decided that was the last time for a long time, I was on my way to the guitar center and decided snce it was a full open road and there was no traffic whatsoever that i would make a top speed run. Well I hooked up hptuners so i could read my topspeed when it was over so i didn't have to look down...i got to the topspeed in 4th, shifted, and then sprayed 100 shot...it turns out my topspeed was 158...well that's when i let off anyway, all I can say is NEVER AGAIN...that was pretty damn fast for me...and I will never do it again, i have been driving the speed limit ever since that day...freaked me out...

Just possibly you may get lucky and not lose your license. I do however think you need to learn a lesson and lose it. A year of having to take busses places will make you value a license. I lost mine when I was 19 or so and it wasn't fun.

Ew. I lost mine last year when I was 16 for 3 months. SUCKED SO DAMN BAD. You can actually lose your license for a year after the age of 18 for doing what he did? WTFFF
