130 dollar fine, 400 bucks for the lawyer, 2 points, and a 2 weeks suspension.
would have been like a 500 dollar fine, 5 points, and a 6 month suspension.
i love the court system.

I was clocked at 134km/hr in a 110km/hr zone, was actually going about 150 but the radar detector went off just before I crested the hill.(need to get a better detector ) I pulled over right away and the cop was more interested in knowing what my license plate stood for(SSSC). No ticket.
I was saved again by my radar detector doing about 200km/hr I immediatly slowed down but then I saw the cops lights come on I thought my license would be gone for sure.As I admitted defeat and was starting to slow down to pull over, the cop pulled over a truck I was just about to pass before I slowed down. The truck must have been barely speeding and been caught first.
Another time I was clocked at 129km/hr in a 100km/hr zone. The cop pulled me over and saw my radar detector and laughed saying he knew I had one before he pulled me over because I slowed down the instant his radar came on. No ticket.

That would seriously blow to lose your license though, I lost mine for 24 hours once and I couldn't handle it, I let one of my friends drive my car just so we could take it. Then later I had to show him how to feed it some speed on some back roads. It's a good thing I didn't get caught driving without a license or I really would have been in trouble.

Even if a cop sees you going ***** out on the highway... if nobody is around it will probably be nothing.
