srt 4

cobalt ss/sc vs neon srt4

cobalt is stock and so is the srt why did i win by a length from a dig.???

had fun though.

raced a stock srt 4 when all i has the gmpp exhaust. won 2 out of 4 runs . ide say its a drivers race stock for stock.

i can believe it cause a sc has no lag unlike a turbo, not hard to understand how he got him off the line

Hahahahahaha... you, sir... are Funny! With the tiny tiny tiny Turbo that comes stock on the SRT's... they are at full boost at right about the same RPM range that we hit full boostage.

You will never find Turbo lag being a factor when racing a stock Turbo SRT or even a Stock Turbo DSM. They are just too small!

You must not have ever raced an SRT-4 before.

No kidding... but since you brought it up...

Funny story. I ran a stock 6.0 GTO at the track once... I ran a 14.01 @ 104

He ran a 16.3 @ 102...

I guess you are right... he's lucky he didn't run into a stock GTO. I guess that's what happens when people get cocky and stall their car off the line.

Boost leak, poor driver, etc...

Either way a drivers race. The SRT-4 should win but there are so many variables to factor in that it is impossible to say who will win 100% of the time. Good race though.

Little MT did you get rid of the SRT-4? Or do you own that along with the GTO now?

frm experience,srt's are super hard to lauch off the line,especially if u got power and the stock bf tires...stock vs stock...cobalt is much easier to launch,even a decent launch on the srt4,the cobalt will get pulled in 2nd gear for sure

And every 9/10 guys on this forum are full of s&it. A stock Cobalt SS/SC cannot beat a stock SRT4. How many times are we going to go through this?
