SS S/C vs 07 350z

Well I barely got my first kill today.

3 Races:

1st. 60roll - I dropped to third and we stayed pretty even with me barely leading

2nd. 60roll - I dropped to 2nd and jumped him and held the lead with him at my rear fender

34d 40 roll - This one I don't get. I thought the Balts would do better at 40. from 40-80 we wern't really gaining any where and then I slowly started to pull him.

Was surprised he did that well.

SS - 2.9, 50#, Trifecta Tune, Injen intake, Vibrant Header + DP, GMPP exhaust.

350z - "stock"

id say it needs some tune work, 3 days ago i raced one of my clients in his 09 GT500 cobra and beat him by 4 cars 0-135. Also beat a highly modded turboed integra.

Sounds about right, the 07-08 Z's are much quicker than the earlier ones. It takes a stage 2 LSJ to even keep up with one. They run about the same as a stock LNF from most rolls, they are stronger down low.

Really they are that fast?! Geeze I'm pretty happy that I could keep up with a low 13 sec car.

have you dyno'd the car as it doesn't sound as it should keep up with either of those cars at all

did the gt500 owner not know how to drive?

^This and 2.9 cars are happier in the higher rpms because that is where their efficency range is.

Just ate one of these this morning. Douche tried to give me (and my LNF) static this morning, and I closed shop on him very, very quick. 40-up was a no-chance for him. Do LSJ's really have that much trouble?

The downside to the 07-08 350Z is the 3.54 final. They should have put a 3.9 or a 4.10 in it. With the 7500 RPM redline the 4.10 would make it a 12 second car easy. I can hit 72mph in 2nd gear and wrap the speedo at 160 in 5th.

As in a Shelby gt500? If so I highly doubt it. My neighbor has one and it's not even close if we were to race. I doubt a lnf with a tune and bolt ons could keep up let alone a m62 lsj. unless the driver in the mustang didn't know you were racing. I could see you beating a Shelby gt350 not a 500
