SS/SC Vs. 331 stroker (vids)
These were made a few months back before the C/F hood was put, so they are a little overdue, but I'm lazy so it's taken a while to get them up.

I've got a few more that are a good amount longer and yes, the Mustang kicks much ass. It belongs to a buddy of mine.

Haha, yeah...I was destroyed, but I knew this would happen before we even lined them up. We were just testing how much faster his car would be. Overall he was very impressed with the Cobalt. He said the topend on the SS was amazing for such a small motor with a supercharger.
He's got a 331 stroker block from DSS.
-JE forged pistons-10.5 CR
-Comp cams .560 lift/.240 duration cam (That may not be the exact cam spec, but it's close.
-Comp cams hydroller lifters
-Comp roller rockers
-AFR aluminium heads
-Trickflow intake
...and some other goodies. He lays down about 360 rwhp and 360 rwtq.

His heads are 2.02/1.60. Pretty much the same thing as my Iron Eagles, just aluminium.
He's actually making good power when you think about it. It started it's life with a measly 225 hp and 300 tq...at the crank non the less. It's also a motor that's much older than an LS1 and comes much less equiped to make power (the heads on a 5.0 are horrid after about 4000 rpms) and is still 13 cubes smaller, even after being stroked and bored.
In reality he's making roughly 181 more crank hp than the stock motor was making. That's not bad at all.

The new cam, roller lifters and pushrods will be installed some time late next week. Then after that there is still a bunch of odds and ends, as well as the entire efi system. It's going to be a while till the motor itself is finished, but that don't matter cause the car won't be ready untill maybe winter time. But don't worry, you'll get to hear it
