SS/SC vs. 350z
well today was my first run in with a 350z. mine is all stock and im guessing so was his. we were cruising at about 45 mph and then he sped up and slowed down so i did the same. we did 3 honks and we took off. we stayed head to head for a while then he gave up.

idk...doesnt sound right, no offense i'm not marking it as b/s but the 350's are pretty quick cars. i've been trying to find one to match up with one but i dont want to get spanked... i mean its a 280+ v6....the only thing we would have on it is weight...idk though if you did that well then i've gotta try now to see how i'd do

good race. I had a similiar experience. I was getting on the highway and there was a 350z in front of me. It was a low 20ish roll and i had to start in second so i was in a dead spot plus He was on it first as I was behind him and had to wait for him to go first. Anyway he pulled out about 3 cars and then when i finally got in to power it stayed that way with me maybe pulling back about a half of car by the time we shut down at 130. I also had a passenger and he was alone. Overall very even cars stock for stock.

Well, the times that they are listing for the z is with a average driver. Alot of people have went from 13.5 to 13.8 completely stock in the z's. The top speed for a 350z is 159. It will do it, just takes a minute to hit it. Also those hp are for a 06+ model. The 03-05 have 287hp and 274ft lbs. Just alittle more info to the pot.

Looks like the Balt is about 500 lbs lighter stock.
I think the Z has a bit of an edge, but the stats are close enough to make it a close race.
Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go nail my girlfriend.
MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

that really doesn't have much to do with it...the z still massively overpowers the ss/sc. the ss/sc just has alot less weight to pull. MOST z's run low 14's, so it should be a good race for an ss/sc. some run high 13's and VERY few, but a few nonethe less have hit mid 13's, so the z is the quicker car, but again, it should be a close race on the street.

its pretty dead even if you ask me...i think the cobalt would pull it out....but as for mods if you put a twin turbo on those 350z's they freaking fly. i watched a vid of a stage 3 srt-4 and a 350z one heck of a race.
