Are you 16? No wonder people with Cobalts get ragged on.

Settle down. Why not just meet up as a couple car enthusiasts, be respectful and see who has the quicker car? 1st Gen M/T Z's trap about 100 it will be a close race, unless you're making significantly more power than stock. With your mods and if you have a decent tune you should be a take a 350z from a roll.

Do a race from a dig and one from a roll. Good luck

Here is a run I had with a nismo HR 350Z. Race ends at about 115mph. They have a nice top end compared to the 1G 350z. The camera guy in my car owns an SS/TC

OP, you should little issue winning. His looks like a 03 to 05 model which is 287hp. 06's and the 35th Anniversary 05's got the REVUP engine but its still no threat. The HR cars are easy to spot. They have the big lump in the hood to accommodate the taller engine. An HR may give you a run for your money.

They are porky for the size of the car...

any non HR 350Z can be taken out by a stock SS SC. Ive run one a few times, especially from a roll (and i had a fat ass 280lb guy in my car at the time).

HRs i have no experience with, but i imagine they are a good bit faster.

The 05 track models have the rev up engine too, just to make things even more confusing

03-05 287hp 6600 redline (both MT and AT have same engine)

05 (anniv and track), 06 300hp 7000 redline (MT only, all the AT still have the non rev up)

07-08 306hp 7500 redline (both MT and AT both have same engine)
