your car is not a good comparison in this case, my stage 2 pulls on them. My Father-in-Law has one and my SS/SC is just a little faster but not by much

with my old cobalt (2.9, custom tune, intake, header/dp, and catback) i used to smoke those trash cans like they weren't moving. i would actually slow down, then hit the gas again.. slow down and wait, then smoke them again. they are slow ass tanks. i won't even bother racing one now unless its blown or nitrous fed.

alright... haven't read all the posts but most of them.... my experience....

ss/sc 07 stock vs. charger daytona orange/black, location: city/street, start: lights. Both time I was in front of him and he tried hard to play with me. he was alone I had a passenger. I got him on the start, he missed his and then could not catch up. the road was curvy and going up and down. No straight line (just for a few 100 feet). He was not laughing anymore although we had fun.

well let me get in on this i have a stock 07 lt stick and i raced a charger RT on the high way for a dead stop he pulled in front of me at first when i hit second i pulled up alittle when i hit third i pulled in front of him by 110 i was half a car length in front of him, now i dont know what it had in it or if it was just because he was a bad driver but i got his assssssss hahahahaha

Stock for stock your toast.
SS/SC with intake your toast.
SS/SC with intake and exhaust your toast.
SS/SC with intake, header, downpipe, exhaust. In favor of the R/T
SS/SC with intake, exhaust, downpipe, stage II. Now you got the R/T.
One of my best friends owns one.
I was able to take him with stage II, intake, exhaust.
He has headers, intake, tune.

^ Btw, I'm talking about 1/4th mile times at the track, not street racing.

Race him and find out. Anything could happen.

Not possible with a lt, my friend has a R/T and i have an ls, and to no ones suprise he smokes me every time. They are monsters and no way you could have smoked it unless maybe it wasn't an R/T.

yes it does get pretty tough shifting those five-speed autos. He wasn't racing you. He could have launched like a chimp and still had you by 10++++ cars to 110.
