He's off today, so I couldn't ask him.
Edit: nevermind. Eric is at work, and I'm just chatting with him. A lot of those pics are from his camera, and I saw him in one of the pics, lol.

i raced a modded evo 8
he had was running stock boost, but had cams and some other things making around 330 hp with a boost leak. he stayed in fifth gear and walked me from 60-80. it wasnt that bad until he got into boost...but by the time we would get to 80-90 i would just stop cause i could tell it wasnt going to get any better...lol
i would get the jump on him but it didnt ever take him long to over take that...

They pull very hard at around 80 mph in stock form. This put's 3rd gear at about 4500-4800 rpms and the SC loves it. You'd never know you were driving a car that has a hard time break mid 14's.

I would have to agree with the guy who said "It all comes down to the driver". I own an 03 EVO and when I was stock 03 to mid 04, I never lost to an SS or an SRT-4 from a roll. Some of those runs were closer than others.
(SS) - One from a dig (I shut down at about 65 because I was so far ahead of him it didn't matter anymore) (Got to love the AWD)
(SS) - From a roll - 30 or so/can't remember - Pulled about a car length at best (Shut down at about 90 or so/can't remember - Honestly, was very dissappointed because I thought I would do better. <= New respect for SS's! Damn fast car for the money!
(SRT) - One from a dig (Same as first run with SS) (Got to love that wheel spin)
(SRT) - One from a roll 40 or so/can't remember - Only had a half car on him before we shut down. I don't remember how fast we were going when we shut down.
I will say that for some reason, not every stock EVO off the lot has the same power. For some reason, some are faster or slower than others. Not sure why???
Anyway, great run! EVO's suffer in the mid and high range. I think it really all comes down to the driver in the end. Both the EVO and SS are great cars!
Anyway, I'm not stock anymore (318WHP MD) - Scary but fun car now!

Atleast he is willing to admit that the SS S/C is one to put on the radar.
