I've come to the conclusion that both of you are utter *edit* silly dingbats.

Racing into 5th gear on a flat long Texas highway is believable.

A GM Stage 2 Cobalt shitting all over a bolt on 3v is not...

Yet you two are trying to bash on me because I actually posted somewhat relevant and accurate information?

Take a look at the stock ratios in a 3v, 5th gear is overdrive. That's the only place a pure GM Stage 2 car will pull, way way up top and only very slightly.

Sorry guys. Shouldn't you two be posting up LS2 Goat kills and ties with Terminators and the like?

Edit: You got me on 'balled' tires. I even laughed, I didn't notice that.

a tuned/bolt on 3v gt should walk ALL OVER a stage 2 ss/sc no problem and a stock 3v should be right next to a stage 2 car from a roll and walking it from a dig. 3v's can easily run mid-high 13's stock all day with a decent driver.. I don't know who you have been racing, but they deserve their keys to be taken away.
I never said I was the best driver in the world.

A tuned bolted 3v might be able IDK never raced one. But you never said a tuned bolted one... You said " 3v gt is considerably faster than a stock ss/sc. Hell most stage 2 cars don't run times stock 3v's can, even stage 2 + bolt ons."

Stage two will still beat it. My opinion tho.

Hahaha Ls2 GTOs are monsters.. And terminators are as well. Stock Mustang GTs I wipe my ass with. lmao. Go ahead and waste your energy to give me another response about how slow your cobalt is and how you give "accurate information" and how you "race into 5th gear" and how I'm a "retard"... Go ahead gimme more laughs hahahaha

i was thinking the same thing, i agree with cakeater that tuned and bolt-on 3V's can be fast but we are talking stock GT modded Cobalt.

and Sarvoth just stop while you are . . . well behind. . .

race well into 5th gear. . . ive been in SS/SC's car in 4th going 140.

wtf are you trying to do race or top your car out?

Obviously.. I was mocking you.

Apparently we are BOTH laughing at your expense. I've not implied that my car is fast. I have not compared it to yours or anybody elses. I've merely stated that it is Stage 2 ONLY and it has -always- been a dead heat in my experience on the roll with a stock 3v and as such owners of SS/SCs shouldn't be bashing on them... because in stock form an SS/SC is considerably slower than a 3v. That's all there is to it. And what I said about 5th gear is true. Find a GM Stage 2 car and test it in a 4th gear top end run against a stock 3v 5spd. You'll find what I said to be true.

If you've never even run the car to its limits don't comment on someone who has on occasion on an empty concrete rail highway with other willing participants. I'm out of this thread so you guys can continue bashing on 3v Mustangs feeling fast with your 13.9 times.

Edit: In reply to PNYKLR-TA, both. I'm not saying a long ass top end run is the usual thing, it isn't by any means. But on occasion some people want to go for it. For instance I got **** on by a stock LS1 and an LS2 GTO.. just to compare. I've found out it's true first hand the LS motors run hard up top.. heh.

Hey look! The bad ass driver is back with another comment... Is this OP not talking about roll races specifically? And yet you compare quarter mile times? Lmao. The GT launches on me off the line and I still pull ahead by the 1/4 mark. On a roll? I trap higher than a GT and I will wipe my ass with a GT especially if we start from a roll. lmao. Go ahead and keep comparing quarter mile times like the meat head mustang guy you are hahaha. I love it! Here's another comment for you to cry about: Mustangs are ugly. There.. Haha boo hooooo hahaha

Write back baby

well drag times said 13.5 was the 1/4 mile time but after search for some trap speeds the best i could find for a stocker was like 100 maybe 102 or 103. . . not sure whats up with that. i'd think you would trap a little higher for a 13.5. . . .

i agree thou from a roll the cobalt stage 2 has this one in the bag easy, as long as the 3v is stock.

you should win. i ran one that had a roush short throw, sniper engine management (or something) and roush exhaust from a 40 roll and it took him till 90mph before he got his rear bumper to my front and all i had was cai.
