ss/sc vs Mustang GT
#152
My only gripe the entire ******* thread is that YOU refer to fully bolted and custom tuned cars as Stage 2 which isn't the case, and as a result people who are inexperienced will read your bullshit and go about enhancing and expanding on the already horrible ricer reputation of Cobalt owners by exaggerating on the capabilities of a Stage 2 car.
I've been referencing a Stage 2 car and what it can do, I stated that it is an even match on the roll with a stock 5spd 3v and my original post stated that the OP should win the race.
Don't you think that 3vs average trap 98? And you call me stupid?

The average 3v DOES trap 98, fyi. And I never (as in NOT ONCE) mentioned a custom tune. I am referring to the GM stage 2 tune only.
I repeat. You are a retard. Just stop talking.

A 05+ GT is a 103-105 trapping car on average.
Hell my 04 Auto 2V trapped 100 mph bone stock.
Hell go to this site for refrence and thats not even a Mustang site.

some do. Not the average. The AVERAGE 3v trap is at the VERY least 102. very least. Maybe the people at your track are retarded or you just have a horrible track, but at milan i have only seen 1 3v ever trap under 100 without missing a shift and that guy just couldn't drive for ****. Everyone else traps about 103 all day long with traps in the 104's as their personal bests. My car stock traps about the same as a 3v, ever so slightly quicker and it sure as hell wasn't a 98mph car.

The only person that is lying to themselves is you. Yes I have seen GTs pull those times and oddly enough I've never seen a 05+ only trap 98. 105 is on the high side but numerous people have trapped that high and 103 is about what every GT Ive seen runs.

Seriously, the old 2v's trapped around 98-100mph on average. Which the 3v is a considerable amount faster, which would put their traps around 102-103mph on average.

Like I said, my 3v will beat a stage 2 LSJ from a dig or roll. What other mods besides a stage 2 does your Redline have?

Also, Just a P.S. IF a car is faster in the quarter mile, it does not necessarily mean that the trap speed is higher.

Are you f*cking serious? Before I got my SS/TC, I had an 01 GT. So I had a 2v and I had my 3v. And from a dig and from a roll my 3v would slaughter my 2v, especially after the mods I added. Which the 2v had the same mods except I never got it tuned. On average the 2v puts down about 225whp or so, and the 3v puts down around 265-270whp, and with my mods and tune my 3v is pushing 300whp and around 320wtq. I think it's funny how alot of races on here seem to involve Mustangs and Cobalts, and I think it's funny how some people wont just realize which car should win and is supposed to win. Like I said, I have a 3v GT and an SS/TC and before my SS/TC was tuned it had no chance vs my 3v, now that it's tuned my SS/TC will pull alittle on my 3v but from a dig my 3v still wins. And my 3v would destroy my 2v, so yeah it's a much bigger difference than you think and you dont own both cars like I do so you cant say much.

I never said I do that, but I do have a Wife who races aswell. She has driven the SS/TC and I've driven the 3v, and she has driven the 3v while I drove the SS/TC. And before I got my SS/TC, I drove the 2v and she drove the 3v. And please dont say **** about her driving because I can guarantee you she can drive better than 80% of the people on this forum. She learned to drive a manual tranny car when she was 15, and has driven nothing but manuals since then, and she is 27 now. And just so you know, she taught me how to drive a manual after we met.

Im clueless? LOL Dude you honestly know nothing about any car other than your own and you don't know really anything about it.
I've been racing since I turned 16 and have made countless passes down the track. I follow Mustangs very closely if you couldn't tell by the three I currently own so I think I know a thing or two about what these cars run.
You sound like some punk ass 16 year old that thinks hes an expert on cars, yet couldn't tell me the difference between and crankshaft and camshaft.

That's cute that you like mustangs and all, but facts remain facts.
3v GTs do not run mid 13's @ 105 bone stock on average. You are insane. Partially because you are just biased towards mustangs so I understand your urge to defend the big, bad v8s.
