SS Sedan vs. Mitsubishi Lancer Ralliart

On my way home tonight from my folks house, we stopped at the red light by our house and a white ralliart lancer pulls up and revs his motor, he had AT least and exhaust and intake, i thought what the hell, i dropped the SS in L and the light truned green and he had a 5 speed for sure, he burned out big time, we hit 50mph and his lights were already staring at my rear bumper, we hit about 90+ and i shut here down with a 3 car win over him, i felt good another W for the 2.4 AUTO, he was pissed, he rolled down his window and flipped me off, what a ******* loser.

p.s. the auto lauches VERY hard from L ,

the ralliart is a nice car. shame on him for flipping you off. good kill though. Those cars are really hard to launch, they just love to burn out on that horrible stock rubber. lol. I just traded mine in though and need to get new pics up of my new car. I'll be starting the thread soon, be looking for it.

My friend had a lancer rallyart with stage 2 turbo, from a 40 mph roll he would jump a head by 2 cars ,but then id catch him and but him a car behind my. From a dig he would spin throw third gear.
But I still liked his car if would have sold before I got cobalt I would have bout it.

Please do, some people clearly need it. It's continuous VVT, so you can't feel it "kick in". Look at a new Si dyno, and you can see where the V-Tec starts. There is a very rapid increase in torque output in the higher rpm range. Then look at a 2.4 dyno. It's making about 90% of it's peak torque at 2500 rpm, and the curve is almost as flat as that of an ss/sc, just not as high on the chart.

Eh, don't worry about it man, some of the people on this forum are pissy but it comes with the territory of a somewhat larger forum. It's all good.
