It's cool man. The majority of Honda owners are in fact posers or people who think they know everything. I have two friends who own Hondas, and we do them right. Not a single one of us have any flashy mods, lips, stickers, JDM BS parts, or Rota, Drag, or any other knockoff, low quality wheels. But all my other friends don't give a damn about cars. Those are the friends I hang out with most.
i like a good clean fast car. the most i would do to the exterior of my crx is the jdm body, lip, and baller ass wheels and hid's. as for the interior, **** the subs, i just need goo front and rear speakers, new stereo and deftones with my mickey mouse gauge pod behind the steering wheel showing boost and air/fuel

well let me be the first to say, if you are gunna say that the Si beat these cars after someone else already posted proof that both those cars beat the Si. that you better bet your ass we want proof or you're just a little honda fan boy tryin to stick up for the rice.
ohh really? funner. . .
please explain to me how that works thats like me saying my 350rwhp LT1 can beat 420-620rwhp turbo'd LS1's.
and there is only 1 way i car see that happening, my car being 150% a stripper, and said turbo guy running on street tires with atleast 5 bags of 100lb concrete in the rear hatch.

X2.
No way a well set up turbo 500 whp car get beat for any length of time by a 230 whp car of the same type what is he on crack or something? A SI Civic is a huge waste of money. They cost just as much if not more than a turbo Cobalt and as Road and track put it " If you are not in the power band (6K to 7700) teenagers borrowing mom's minivan will have their way with you".

Hey, that's your opinion. No problem with that.
It's just part of the poser Honda slang. Never got into that sh*t. So dumb.
I enjoy it. It's a very fun car to drive.

Driver Mod or tuning needed for those cars then. That is for sure!!!! People lie about their numbers sometimes too.

yea i have also seen this happen, when the turbo car cant catch any traction and the NA car is a strickly track only car sure it happens, but if both cars are actually set up for drag racing there is no reason the lower hp car should win.

It does not have to be an all out drag car, if that's what you were implying. I'm not saying F/I cars can't be faster. They are the majority of the time. I'm just saying that a car that can dyno 450whp on their current tune, CAN get beat by a 260whp N/A car in the same chassis. I've seen it.

Nothing like racing in traffic with people in your lane.
Nice pulls on the civic though but try to keep it to less used highways or when traffic is less. I would hate for someone, more so for the innocent people driving on the highways too, to get killed or anything, not like they asked you to race and then pulled in front of you.
The SS/TC's are no joke. I would like to race one myself.

I went to the track Friday and there was one lonely guy representing the 8th Civic Si seen and represent he did. He had a CAI and catback stainless steel exhaust. He was running consistent 15.8's@92 mph. Traction must have been owning him.

Sounds about right. I have seen a 225 whp Dakota beat a Civic SI. He runs 14.8 at 92 (Brother's truck)

Beefy. I keep seeing you take all types of angles here to defend the Civic but I can't really see what you are trying to prove here. What exactly is your point with all this?

I think he is saying with the right driver, an Si is a lot faster than people are giving it credit for to which I'm sure he is partly correct. I still believe with all things being equal, a stock Si is going to have some problems staying with most stock SS/SCs. That's only from my personal experiance though. It's not much of a secret that a SS/TC will hand an SS/SC it's ass, so an Si won't stand a chance unless the SS/TC owner sucks at driving.
