ss/tc vs 20g mr2
let me start this off by saying i am getting new tires this week that is how much i need them.
vids will be posted soon hopefully cause i am kinda lazy
COBALT MODS: Tune
MR2 MODS: IC, Injectors, 20g (12LBS), untuned, external wastegate, open downpipe and i believe that is all.
WEATHER: it had just started raining (not hard, like drizzle, but just enough that i had no tracton til about 80 [like i said i REALLY need new tires])
SINCE THE MR2 WAS SO LOUD WE DID YELLING PLUS HAND SIGNALS
NO RUN WENT OVER 90MPH..... COBALT NO TRACTION TIL 75/80MPH
RUN 1: (EPIC FAIL 1 LOL) 40 ROLL, my camera man didn't yell or anything so the MR2 knew when to go but i had to clue lol
RUN 2: 40 ROLL, MR2 JUMPED, but once i got an it (and spun instead of getting traction lol) neither car gaind or lost. final result cobalt at MR2'S door
RUN 3: (Dunno why i thought it was a good idea lol) 15/20 roll (roads still wet... me still with **** tires) 1st gear- cobalt next to MR2, 2nd gear-mr2 out by 2/3 cars (no traction in the balt FTL lol) 3rd gear- cobalt still spinning MR2 still out by 2/3 cars lol
RUN 4: 40 ROLL, (both cars break boosting LOUD AS ****!) even start, MR2 at cobalts back passenger window til 90ish when cobalt lets off
i promise i will try and have the vids up by today hope you enjoyed the description
SIDENOTE: when the runs were done the MR2's turbo was GLOWING BOTH PEOPLE AGREE THE RACES WERE EVEN

nice...... but dude, bald tires on wet roads?? sounds a little risky to me! try again when its dry, you may have better results.
oh and he's proly running lean as hell........hence the brightly glowing turbo

i swear they were not wet when we left but 5 min later it started to drizzle, and 7 min later we turned around and ran lol also i had no control issues (besides the loss of traction) but to be safe(r) we only ran to at max 90mph in a 4 lane wide (EMPTY) road and the further notrh we went the less drizzle there was....

got ya. in any case, totally dry roads would likely net you better results. besides, if he's running without a tune of any sort, he's gonna grenade that engine VERY soon!

lol owned i know i told him that he says he thinks it will be ok cause it is no sort of DD and this is only the second time it has ran since the build has been finished (other time vs an sti that i am going to race, and he says the STI only put a car on him so i think we will be a good run)
