It was nice of him to leave it in the wrong gear for you. That, or he's an idiot and put in it what sounds like 3rd . Didn't see gears listed either, that's a must with a big cube motor. edit: not saying your car shouldn't roll out on him, but the way he fell back so quickly indicates it wasn't in gear. Should have been pulling the longer the race went, not right off the bat. Have him start from something that puts him around 4500rpms to start the race, that will make it much more interesting.
I have a friend that has a similar 408 build, and it runs much better than that car.
Flow is good, but the velocity suffers. A good cathedral head is still king on a 408.

The 408 TA actually runs EXTREMELY hard. video isnt an accurate representation of how good it actually runs. even with it needing work up top yet. and for chases balt moving out... it flat out does.. im more than impressed with that thing after getting to line up next to it. both of em are bad ass rides. it even hooks with what most would consider minimal tire on the front of it. dunno if it does at 40 or not havent seen or asked but it sure as hell does at 60. chases balt sure as hell moves out harder than my SS did with the lysholm and bottle on it.

you really have no idea what you are talking about. The run was clean and he was in the right gear. I think you severely underestimate my car.
Thanks man i appreciate it. I like my nt05's
