Your opinion is based on a test drive, on public roads, with an inexperienced driver? Sucked how? Please tell me the shortcomings you found from the passenger seat. Ive driven all the SRTs for a total of maybe 75-90 laps around real racetracks, like Michelins test track in Laurens, South Carolina, and the BeverRun racetrack and also got to ride passenger on a few laps driven by pro drivers, Skip Barber instructor kinda guys, and you really dont have a leg to stand on.
Just admit you dont like them, its okay, but to make statements that cant be backed up in reality just doesnt work. You asked other SRT-8 owners how their cars handled and they old you it sucked? Really? Man, just give up already.

Dont get me wrong, autocross is a blast, Ive gotten to do some of that with the whole SRT line including the Viper, which, shocker, doesnt really do well there, fun, but not precision stuff. The SRT-8s were never intended to autocross. Thats like complaining that your screwdriver sucks because it doesn't chisel well.

I stomped the **** out of that srt8 today......went 40-100.....It was back there about 3 cars at 100....
so this tells me that the R/T I ran with the other day has some serious buisness going on under the hood or my car was just running shitty that day. Both cars were auto, so hmmm..
