I guess I'm going to have to see it to believe it. I have yet to see a cobalt beating a GTO, even stock vs modded.
The 6.0 runs 13.0's stock, mid 12's with bolt ons. I have yet to see a cobalt dip into the 12's that's not heavily modded.
Not that I'm a big ls2 fanboy, I just want some vidz.

or maybe im a good driver.... just because my car has potential to be in the 12's and because a bigger v8 should have beat me but the roads were damp last night and i will show you times on saturday night and there will be vids of my track times and i will race the gto on film when niterider has it with him next time we meet up which will be next weekend and i keep up with mid 12 sec cars from rolls with traction i think i will be in the high 12's

With the mods that "revhigh" has, I can see this being an equal race against a stock LS2 GTO, especially from a roll. If both cars caught traction at the beginning I think the Cobalt would be playing catch up, but I still think both cars would be even crossing the stripe.

I remember you posting your mod list awhile back after you got all that work done. Unless you have DR's or slicks, I can't see you being much faster than a stock LS2 GTO from a dig. From a roll, it would be close, but I think you might have the edge. And sorry, I dont get high, that is for pathetic losers who dont have a life.

From a dig one would think the GTO would run out for a little while but you have to remember how under tired the GTO is, makes it hard. The balt has the lb-hp advantage (9.6 TC 10.6 GTO). I just bet in the higher MPH the GTO would stop its pull being it is geared better and has more cubes and higher hp/tq, maybe even start to pull back a little. They have always said the GTO gets moving after the 1320, atleast the new ones. So the results don't sound far fetched, but I am interested to see his trap speed at the track.
A video from 50ish to 130+ would be a great indicator of the preformance of the two cars, and in car please!

can't see why people have a hard time with a 2900 lb car with 310 wheel hp out running a 3700lb car with 340 wheel hp
what do stock 6 speed ls2 gto's dyno?
340 wheel or so?
that is only 30 wheel more but almost 800 more lbs of weigh to move.
i don't see one thing unbelievable about the above described race.
