Nice win, get some real tires now and win more

SE-R = 177hp
SE-R spec V = 200hp
for the 2007+ models. no idea what your buddy has
2.5L i4 weighs ~3100lb

kinda wanted one for a while, decent for NA i4

That model is the 2.5l with 200hp. His turbokit is treadstone which is good for 300 hp @9psi according to treadstone. He however was pushing 12.

Since the 2.5L motor in the Sentra SER SpecVs is a high compression motor, they run at the most 9Ibs of boost.

Im guessing your buddy is either at 300whp or just beyond it by alittle bit.

The run 10:5:1 which isn't that high in my opinion. If people run 10 psi from a 3582 into an SI which are 11:5:1 and making 400whp all day long you should be able to make more than 300. The QR25 is a good motor and has steel rods, good pistons and forged crank from the factory.

Im only going by what Nissan classifies there motor as. They state its a High Compression motor and must run premium fuel.

I know cause the fiance just traded in a 2011 one for a Chevy Cruze Eco.

I had dreams of turboing it :'(

Yeah I hear they are a solid platform for smooth boost. They make a lot of torque down low for a N/A 4 cyl.

The early 2000's SER and SER-V had same HP. Just LSD and 6 speed tranny.

its a 2011. I think it is 6 speed cause his gears are short, not sure about the LSD. Its a quick lil sentra though

Spec Vs came with LSD from factory. Same tires as our cars too from factory. Sportcontact 2s
and yes they are 6 speeds.

I had an '04 Spec V that I turbo'd. Car made 280/250 on 8psi and over 300/280 on 10psi. Largest weak point would be the pencil thin rods the motor has and the ring lands.

Handling was top notch, came stock with Brembos, LSD and 6 speed trans with beefy axles. Great car and I miss mine dearly...

My friend was one of the first to have the Treadstone kit on the B16 model sentra. Shortly after install we tuned it on meth and 9.5lbs and maxed the injectors. On that setup on some DR's he ran a 13.2 @108. Then last year we tuned it on 16.5 lbs and E85. With a 2.0 60' he ran a 12.1 @118. A few passes later he snapped a rod from too much cylinder pressure. He said at the time he believed it was the quickest e.t. and fastest trap on a stock block B16 Sentra...but we found out why since we pushed its limits

I can promise there weren't any dead lifters in that car. Ran great until I was dumb and made a mistake and busted a piston.

I was probably one of the first b15 spec v to turbo. I even ran a 13.0@108 back in '05 on street tires which took quite a while to beat. Loved that car...
