ss vrs del sol
guy at school has a del sol he's got a turbo kit and a b18 motor he's puting into in and wants to race and says my car is slow
who would win???

my friend has a N/A B18c Del Sol, hes making 215 fwhp, no turbo just a tuned N/A
if this guy has a turbo, he will win, they weigh next to nothing and are quick when the right motor is put in it

B18 is it a Gsr or Ls ?
which Ls is 140hp
and GSr is 170hp
turbo kit bout 50-55 hp
He has more horsepower and less weight , but i belive top end u would win.
Get a stage 2 and race him for money.lol I Hate Ricers

nnnnnnoooooooo up top is where that car will really pull hondas struggle for traction like noones business (on street tires) because of the lightweight. once he gets moving he is gonna be damn quick

Did you even think before you typed? If he has more power, and weighs less, how is he gonna beat him? Use common sense.
But in all honesty, yes a turbo B18 will probably leave you way behind him. If he was NA with a few mods even then itd be a close one. SAy what you want about the looks, but when it comes down to it, those Del Sol's can rip you a new one. ( First hand experiance)

dang, most of u have a SS/SC balt and it appears you have no faith in the cobalt, thats sad. =( its a honda... it sucks period.... it was made with chopstix come on. american > import... and also take into concideration on how he drives, he might suck... but I believe in you... u would spank his ugly pos honda ass period. ftw

I dont care if its made of paper mache. A fast car is a fast car, looks dont matter to some people. Ill be the first to say its an ugly car. I have faith in the balt, but you have to think about more then what you drive. Depending on boost, not that it really even matter, this del sol might just beat you bad. Depending on his boost level again, supporting mods, driver ability, this ould be measured in buslengths. flame on people who think cobalts are gods gift to earth.

Im by no means a huge fan of Honda's, but when done correctly they can be absolutly badass. It's not lack of faith in the balt, its simple logic.
On a different note stock i think he will take you IF he can drive.

my buddy had a b18 turbo'd del sol engine fully built 340whp when it ran it was rediculous.
So I'm going to say stock he'll work you for sure. He's probably got atleast 240whp in a light car.

it depends what b18 it is, ask him if it is a b18c1( gsr) b18c5( type r) or lust an ls, if it is an ls ask him if has the vtec head. but i think he will get you. just go out and race him or youll never know lol.
