SS vs 2005 wrx sti
well my friend just got a sti and wanted to race me saying ym car is a domestic piece of ****. That it's so sad that stock my car only has 205 horsepower. Well we ran em twice from a dig and a roll. From the dig he only beat me by two cars and from the roll he only beat me by a half a car. I told him this 205 horsepower car just kept up with youre 300 horsepower car, so who's car is a pieceo of **** now? I thought it was pretty funny. We're going to run em again but little does he know I'm getting my stage 3 kit this week!

your car has a little more than 205. GM underrated it. And your 'friend' doesn't sound like much of a friend to call your car a POS. And besides, his car costs near twice as much as yours. Real big man. Get in a z06 corvette and call his car a POS, he'll make up excuses.

**** it just throw on a 3inch pulley and everything else stock and he's good to go also. I think Just 3inch > stage 2 and i stand buy it to this day

dude they are awd they will smoke u off the line. the only chace u will have if u have the stage three and from the a roll
no stock ss/sc will keep up with a sti. the sti will blow u to hell. big diffrence between 300hp to 205 hp. also sti are awd which means better launch off the line and u will not catch up.

uhh sir..they make 230whp...280whp with a good tune,chip,and turbo back exhaust.

iv kept up with an 04 STI 30 to 110 he was a car up on me and from a dig he had 4 cars by 100. there fast but unless you kno how to drive it well they can be beaten. stage 3 and youll kill him from a roll and edge him out from a dig

correct. it's very possible from a roll...i had stage 2 and intake and kept side by side with my boys STi with full breather mods and a good tune. He dynod at 302 to the wheels. The simple fact is that AWD really siphons off alot of HP on the top end. From a dig, he absolutely destroyed me.

. We raced again, I put 8 lengths on him from a dig to 90 and was flat out pulling away hard. From a roll would have been even worse. Afterwards I said man you should get rid of that piece of **** f-body and get a nice car like a vette. . Zinged his ass real good.

yeah, i actually was trying to run him the other day. we both gave it but i gave it sooner and was ahead. we couldnt really race cause there were some cars. yeah let me know when you come down. there is also 2 srt4s, and tons of mustangs that like to get beat ha ha.

we got an sti junkie. awd doesnt kill all, buddy. rwd cars with just traction mods can launch pretty much just as hard. i know this is fwd, but the same applies. proper launching mods and youll cut a 60 footer pretty damn close to theirs. and thats assuming they have the ***** to dump the **** out of their clutch.
Stage 2 nets you about 300 awhp and 330tq in an STi, which is a TBE and an off the shelf tune. Protunes net you even more hp than that. And considering they dyno at 250 awhp I would ask for my money back if a TBE or tune took me down to 230 awhp.
