Stage 1 w/2.8 goes racing!!!!

Hey guys had some awesome races last night first off with an older supra it had some worl done on it the guy said he was boosting 20lbps and I took him by two cars up to 140, second was a sweet pontiac W 5.6 w/I/H/E says he runs 12.9 with drag tires at go took him by half a car till 3rd gear then car makes funny sound and I let off but I was going to hold him off, last race of course srt-4 comes buy gives me the blowoff salute and it was on worked him BADLY he had no chance 40mph roll I hit the gas and was gone beat him by at LEAST 4 carsl. This car can move now and cannot wait to by headers and smaller pulley for the track I will run 12's if it takes me all year I will do it.
P.S. If you don't beleive me on any of these races I don't give a crap so don't waste your time posting that you don't beleive b/c I will not respond to you b/c frankly I don't have time to argue with internet "wankstas".

I think it's gonna take more than a header and 2.7 pulley. first you gotta see how well you drive at the track.

Look at my mods that is not all I have and FYI a cobalt with 270 hp just put up a 12.8. Also I ran a 14.5 stock so I think I know how to run at the track.

I don't think a header and a .15 smaller pulley is gonna net +25 hp. If I remember right, after going so small, you are getting the supercharger's rpm's to high and only moving the boost response lower. That basically means you will be making all your power at a lower rpm resulting in less traction cause of so much power so soon. Like i said before, it's gonna take more than a header and a pulley to run 12's. Prove me wrong though, I would love to see it. I'm just saying it's gonna be a little harder than you think.

Two words Drag Radial! And I will personally pm you when I hit the 12's by the way the smaller you go on a pulley it is exponential meaning a drop from a 3.2 to a 3 will not net as much horsepower as dropping from a 3 to a 2.8. Even though it is only .15 more the exponential value is much higher and also I would rather have more power in lower rpm band than upper that is why the fast drag cars only rev to about 6k meaning the old chevelles novas ect. B/c they make all their power in lower rpm bands that is why you don't see 8 second hondas. I do appreciate your input however I think it best to agree to disagree and wait till I go to the track.
