Stage 2 SS vs. TrailBlazer SS

Short story: My 05 SS, Stage II with a 2.8. Came up on a new TrailBlazer SS. It looked sexy. I had 4 people and he was solo. Went in 2nd gear from 40ish to about 110. His front bumper was at my rear bumper. I must admit, those things have *****. Some very scientific DragTimes research has told me those are good for a 13.5-14. I was very impressed, but I don't think I would spend 40K+ on one.

Yeah, I like them A LOT... i liked the Trailblazers a lot to begin with. If I had that kind of Money... I could probably see myself driving one.

What do you consider being smoked???? Last time I checked, cherokee srt8's were a full second quicker in the quarter than the TB SS. Not to say anything bad about the TB, its a great ride, but stock for stock the srt8 will beat the ss. The only TB's I heard of beating srt 8's had intake, exhaust, 75 shot and a tune. If there are video's please post them, because I havent seen or found any of a cherokee and TB going at it.

The best (and only) SRT8 on DragTimes (very scientific) was running a 13.2.

Umm that is like comparing apples to oranges, the Ram King Cab SRT-10 weights in at about 7k pounds if not more, soo that is in a totally different class, and not to mention one is a truck and an SUV. Are you going to say the same thing about GM making the Camaro faster than C6 Z06?????

who said anything about 12.7?????? TB SS's run low 14's...14.2-14.6 is what I mostly see. I'm not talking about so and so who said they ran a high 13 blah, blah blah. Most cherokee srt8's run very consistent 13.5-13.6's, which would make them about a second quicker in the quarter...either way the srt8 is still quicker than the ss stock for stock, so if your talking to me...I dont think I'm misinformed at all.

Who cares, SRT 8 is the ****... TB SS looks good But NAh
Price range: Now if your planing to buy a $35k on a car I don't think $6K is that much of a diff, I would go with the SRT8. Sorry Chevy
But back to reality, I love my little Cobalt SS/SC haha

maybe the srt-8 is a bit faster but the tb ss is much hotter i mean interior sound (its a freakin vette engine come on) everything and the srt-8 does not come with very many options and can get into the forty thousands very easily

Show me some real times and don't throw some **** numbers out there. I showed you a completely stock time from a reputable source, especially since I was there and it is listed on Intense's website.

Out of the three videos I have seen one was at the track and the other two were street races.

One was white TB SS vs black SRT-8, black TB SS vs black SRT-8 and red TB SS vs black SRT-8. The track race was one run but the street videos had about three runs each. One of the videos even had a LS1 F-Body run the TB SS and SRT-8 at the end and it won both times.

Blah, Blah magazine this magazine that it would be what most call a drivers race in the real world with all things equal.
