does that video continue anywhere? He was lined up against an 06 wrx or sti at the end I would like to see the outcome. Those EVO's are freakin fast. A reflash and another mod or two and you have an 11 second car.
Stage 2 held up good if not better then that STI. Pretty impressive, I bet that STI owner went home and started ordering some mods....
I was pretty impressed with my mods. I raced a stock 04 STI and pulled about to my door to his front fender and held it there way over 100. I'd be curious to race a stg2 ss/sc while from a slight roll so he could have traction...

That evo 9 was ******* INSANE......aparently, I was looking through the EvoM forum and with his similar mods those cars are making about 300 AWHP. I knew as soon as he told me he was reflashed it wasn't going to be close......The STI stock was a good run though. I could care less that I lost, but I now know where I stand, and that all I really wanted.

how would you consider that a disgrace. Like I said for what these cars are being able to hang with an STI to like 120 with a stage 2 GM upgrade isnt too shabby at all. I've never seen anyone else being able to keep close to ANY evo, well a stock maybe but who has a "stock" evo these days. And remember I could care less about losing, Id rather look like a jerk for trying to race one than having anybody else going around trying to race these cars. Race with evo was from about 20-130ish...roll.

when bulldog raced the reflashed evo9 he didnt even have stage 2 and it looked as though he kept up better. you might wanna check your car dude see if something was wrong a stage 2 should have done much better not saying you woulda won but you shoulda done alot better.

other than that, nice races man, those new evo9's are sick fast. the mivec they finally added to the engine is amazing. the timing is so aggressive in mivec engines. and mivec engages at a very low 3500rpms. so there's power all over the band. you're not doing bad at all for a stg2 ss. you kept up better than I thought you would. maybe GM stg 3 will do better? who knows!

all i have to say is how in the hell couldn't you take out a stock sti from a roll with stage two. just a 3inch pully alone would have had you romping on that car. check your **** its not running right.

I'm not sure what should happen with a stock STI and a stg 2 ss but if everyone is wondering why you couldn't pull on him then a couple different things might have happened, 1) you suck at driving, 2) he's not stock, 3) your **** is fucked up or something. That's exactly how an evo with those mods should pull on a stock scooby STI so I'm guessing it's either option 1 or 2.

i agree with darksun, something doesnt seem right with your car. you should have definitely pulled that STi with stage 2, no doubt about it. first off, those 300 horses arent to the wheels, and then you have to factor in the AWD part. stock a race with a STi isnt THAT bad of a loss. stage 2 should win. you could have hung better with that EVO too, probably not have won though.

i understand that the evo9 was further modified however, so was the ss being stage 2 and all. the evo9 bulldog raced was putting down 280 awhp from what the evo owners dyno run had shown and my point is that bulldog kept up much better. the difference between cars from this recent video was about 50-60 hp? and the one bulldog raced was what 60-70 hp difference plus my fat ass in the car with him recording. again im not saying the ss should have won but it should have done much better

Someone do the math.....
Stock STI : 239 HP, 248 TQ, 3351 LBS
Stage 2 Cobalt SS/SC : 241 HP, 218 TQ, 2991 LBS (I pulled those numbers from GM, is that what everyone seems to be running?)
If those numbers are acturate I dont see how the Cobalt would pull alot on a stock STI. Maybe a little if my numbers are off, or if the STI driver sucks....
