STI Bad Day!

As of right now it's back to 100% stock, the only mods I have are the SLP filter and SLP programmer. I don't even know if i'll add the filter and the Predator was mainly bought to turn down the TM/TR.
This spring I am going to tinker with the suspension and maybe add some SLP LT's.
I would have done it this year but I got busy as hell and had no time to mod. Now I have plenty of time but nowhere above 30 degrees to work on stuff.

snipersssc ever going to bring it out. I only see it where you work. You should try to cruise around with codyss and klugsrt-4 see if you can keep up. highly recommend you up the boost b4 you do it though.
here is a site for you

i have a guy that will probably take the stock pully off your hands.

This winter is the time I am using for my upgrades. I just got done with my cobra h/e and this winter involves cooling mods (devils own meth kit) and traction mods (engine and tranny mounts) also pulleying down with the stg 2 injectors. The injectors I am supposed to be picking up will have both static and dynamic flow. Also down to a 2.8 pulley and HP tuners tune instead of the rich Gm tune.

Or they could have realized that you and Cody would be out every Friday night and decided they were no match for the God's car/Fastest Car on Earth combo. Seriously, think about it, there's alot of raw horsepower on the roads at one time when you guys roll, it makes me wonder how there's any roads left at all.

Everytime I went out around 9pm on a friday or saturday and I drove the "square" (13th to benjamin, benjamin to 1st, 1st to omaha ave) yada yada yada...and no one was out....not even little boys and their Vtecs..... I figure you all were off somewhere else... All I could think about when you said sunglasses at night was that damn 80's song....laughs

I don't think Klug posting here is such a bad thing, even if he's a Dodge on a Chevy forum, he's driving american . I always preferred to look at it as domestics vs. imports, not Chevy or Dodge or Ford vs. the world.
I have friends and coworkers who drive SVT's, SRT's and SS's. We get along just fine, and we never understood why domestic owners would fight nowadays anyway. 30-40 years ago, when they were the only game in town, I could see it, but the Big 4 of Japan have given us some competition which I think are much more enticing targets than Klug and the SRT crowd. If anything I'd be glad that Dodge stepped up and gave us another compact that moves like a rabid wolverine to terrorize the imports with. Can't let the jap car drivers have all the fun, now can we?
Klug, nice kill, STi's are tough customers for the sub-30k crowd. Mopar Stage 2 FTW

I did put what i am putting down for power so if you think about it. a Little more power in a cobalt considering the weight "could" beat a slightly modded sti.

Well, 265 WHP puts you right at 10.9lb/hp, for the same in an SS S/C it'll be about 270-ish. I'm only 30 WHP away , I'm getting my taxes mailed in quick this year, lol. My brother in law has an '04 STi, so it's not the newest, but my Stg 2 kept up pretty well from a roll, which he didn't really like so much. Another 30 WHP and I should be pulling ahead quite nicely... although race him in the snow, I would not, ours are most decidedly tarmac-only.

^^^ x3 for me, I'll even be generous and challenge my bro-in-law's STi from a dig (oh noes, sacrilege, racing AWD from a dig!!! ). Maybe we'll run a 1/2 mile drag to even things out, get a 3-4 shift in there.

I think it's fun watching STi's and EVO's launch, especially when 15 minutes later you can still smell clutch in the air.
Launching in a AWD is just like handling it's only better if the driver is worth a ****.
