Stock STi's can build boost, but you have to pulse the throttle, huge pain in the nutz. It's good to see Cobb adding more features, too bad my AP doesn't have that feature.

lets see dig racing involves racing on normally a deserted road , a deserted road after rain = still a little wet , racing from a roll = racing on the highway, highways arent deserted therefore alot of cars have helped dry the highway alot more than standing water AKA deserted road , your just not that smart , busy roads dry the fastest , who dig races on the highway

3K rpms isnt exactly in the powerband , **** if you really want to get technical , from a 30 roll you could still be in 1st

Well I didn't get a chance to post in the stupid ass callout thread and I have had my fill of kids beating off to STi's and EVO's around here.
I told people my GTO was faster stock vs stock than the AWD egg crates and then someone decides to pick a race using a modded STi.
I am well aware that either will out 60ft me and beat me around a really tight track but that is all. A well launched LS1 F-Body or LS2 GTO will hand one it's ass in the 1/4. I won't even bring up roll racing since it isn't even what I call fair.

You are willing to guess wrong then. I'm not going to talk myself up, but if you want to have a face to face, I'll meet you at the air port in Naha. At that point I'll be more than glad to vocalize what I think about you in person.
Sorry bud, but I won't be "dirving" to Nebraska for another 2 1/2 years but after that I'll be more than glad to take some time out of my 30 days vacation to stretch the legs on my STi. How does 2 large sound?

A stock STI with a good driver will be a close race with a LS2 GTO with a good driver from a dig, now from a roll its not even close. STI are quick at the track because they can get out of the hole like mother (1.7-1.6 60'). Their trap speeds show us that they aren't roll cars since they only trap in the low 10Xmph range. I've seen and raced some mean STIs at the track and on the street and I've never met one that could even come close to hanging with me from a roll. If we go from a dig its another story every single one will jump 2+ cars on me and then I'm playing catch up.
A little food for thought:
My friends 04 STI ran 13.1 @ like 102mph with just a CAI and this was with a 1.7 60'. Now the 05 or 06+ are making more power than the 04s and I've seen a bone stock 07 run 12.9 @ 105 mph
