stock 07 cobalt ss s/c vs 03 srt4 with Mopar intake and BOV
So yesterday , my boi that just got a srt4 wanted to race me, so we decided to go in this long straight in the industrial park at nice where noone is there....we did about 10 pulls and i beat it 7 times........the 3 times is because i shifted to fast into second when i had no tracttion and we all kno what heppen after tha....everytime we raced it was like 1st and second gear he was faster and then 3rd and 4th i was gone.......It was weird cause from what i heard most srt4 are faster than our ss, guess don believe the hype....

umm, hell NO does any 03 srt run a 13.8...maybe ONCE or twice...but the AVERAGE for them, at least around here, stock, is a 14.3-14.6. I ran a 14.5 stock. The 215hp ones werent as fast as the 04's, obviously. Plus, the srt's mods are in almost no way giving him any power. Just cool sounds, and might be losing some boost.

03 srt4 are slower (215 HP not 230)or just about even as a stock SS/SC- the 04- and -05's r faster, they come LSD with stg 1 injectors and about 15 more HP- so with an 03 this story hold up in my book...
CobaltSSredtint, what type of intake was it? Short ram or CAI? if short ram- it makes no difference in HP, a stock airbox with a drop in K&N makes more HP- if it's a CAI he will see maybe 5 HP increase at the most- so still hanging with a Stock SS/SC with same intake mod, so as far as this story goes- i can see it happening, alot of people on this site need to get their heads outta their asses and quit flaming people without knowing anything...

klugsrt4, wat mods do you have now??....its not about how fast a cra is , its about the driver in the case of a srt4 and and ss s/c, now i like the srt4 but ppl think that they are god's gift to street racing...pause..not.....plus klugsrt4 don't take it personal, if you can drive your car more kudos to you...
