klugsrt4, wat mods do you have now??....its not about how fast a cra is , its about the driver in the case of a srt4 and and ss s/c, now i like the srt4 but ppl think that they are god's gift to street racing...pause..not.....plus klugsrt4 don't take it personal, if you can drive your car more kudos to you...

i never said that all srt4 are slow...just the one with sucky ass drivers......how long did you have to learn how to drive your car?? i bet maybe a month, i guess i'll let him get used to it and beat him again.....too many people get offended when the car they drive loses...a kill is a kill...

Last I ran was 12.8 but that was last fall. People need to just learn what cars are really faster. Not if someone beat a srt-4 in his stock cobalt, then assume that they are much faster then all stock srt-4s. You and i both know all he beat was the driver. I am just stating that i have ran faster times stock then ANY other stock cobalt has ran.

Yeah I don't believe that...They usually put down 230 whp stock and 250 tq...just like how they are advertised. Besides if he was pushing 260 hp, hed be close to 300 tq since thye are tq monsters

ive beaten a lot of srt4s from stock to mildly modded to every bolt on imaginable. only one to ever give me any real trouble was one that had a bigger turbo and return fuel setup and stuff

also its an 03 srt 4 the 03's are slower than the 04's and 05s..... 05's have the stage 1 injectors in the car i believe about 10-15 more hp than the regular old 03's.....

intake, header back exhaust, 2.8 pulley, dual pass, option b, HE, Wideband tuned with hptuners, exedy stage 3 clutch, dss stage 2 axles, ttr upper mount with trans insert bushings, minor touch up with a dremel to the inlet and outlet of the supercharger, theres more i just cant think of it at the moment lol
so far ive eaten a stock set of axles, 2 transmission and dynoed 283hp 268tq without juice
gonna work on the head when i get more money to try and free up some more power to break 300 to the wheels

And for the limited slip, it isnt going to make much difference in the quarter. You shouldnt have a one wheel wonder cuz you shouldnt be spinning. The only time that i can even tell i have something trying to help is when i am going around a tight corner and it needs both wheels to pull it out.
All in the driver skill.

Wait, so stock SS S/C's are faster than SRT-4's now? Geez, I go to sleep for 7 hours and look what happens... I guess my Stage 2 dynos 300+ at the wheels and runs 12's now too? At this rate, in a couple of days I'll be beating the space shuttle from a roll
In all seriousness, OP, your "boi" is a bad driver. Stock for stock it's not too much fun to be in the 'balt. Actually it's never too much fun unless you're staged/modded and he's not, or at least less so.

04 and 05 srt4's both have stage 1 injectors and LSD- 03's dont. hence the 15HP difference. plus i think maps are different.

DAMNIT! 03s didnt have the bigger injectors, but stock it did not matter, there was NO power difference in the years. Limited slip did not effect 1/4 times, only higher hp cars. Maps are the same. Little tiny differences that wouldn't matter, thats about it.

is it me or im mis reading. They were never advertised at 230whp, but 230bhp. When they actually put down about 230+ hp to the wheels. but then i do not believe that he put out that much hp to the wheels with just a blow off valve.

Lack of LSD does not mean they are slower in the quarter with stock hp.
