Refrences...

Yeah John you didn't pay as much but your car was used.
Ours are brand new.
New = Less chance of parts breaking due to excess wear
and even if parts break we have warranty.

LOL....I wouldn't count on that

Thats what I told you last night when I let you drive my car. U really need to learn how to drive manual man. You know with out that ETD when you hit 3k rpm in first the tires would of done alot worse then just spin alittle.

Don't forget John that scanner works on your car to.
With the advent of Computer monitoring in cars the days of reving past 6k and dumping at the track blowing the transmission and going to the dealer claiming it blew up at 2k are over.

Cobalt443:
Yeah I hear ya. But thankfully my dealer seems to be pretty cool. I should go ahead and find out how much they want for a stage 2 install.

I know about the scanner. A friend of my dads that owns a car lot had a Trans Am back in 98 and he dumped the clutch at like 7 grand and fucked up the tranny. Needless to say GM didn't pay for it after they hooked the scanner up and it showed last night at 2 am it was at 7 grand. I can drive manual just not 100% perfect.

The 20's have to go (in my opinion, again it's your car, you can do w/e you want). I'm not trying to bash you, it's just that.......20's...cmon, your car looks lifted now. I mean, if you needed new tires, go out and buy new tires. Just because you were able to get a crazy deal on wheels and tires, doesn't mean you should go ahead with it. I mean, if you can afford a supercharger kit, cams, and have a goal for built internals in the near future, you should have enough money for some decent wheels and tires.

But nonetheless, <3 ls1's <3...they are amazing engines..I hope to own an ls1 or ls2 some day

You can drive manual 40% perfect.

It's just getting use to the car and knowing where you need to shift you did fine.

They will be gone when the tires are worn out. I will sell them then. I am looking at repainting my car by july and am hoping to put some nice 19 inch Iforged rims or something like that on it then.

Mine to, thats why I have to save up for them. Believe me Black 20's were the last thing I ever thought I'd put on my car, but when I saved almost $200 over putting tires on my stock rims it made the decision real easy. Also I actually got more compliments with the 20's then when I had the 16's on its weird. Not to mention traction was NON-Existent with the 16's. On the 1-2 shift the car would go sideways about a foot or 2.

Well I gues most the credit goes to John.
He says when he's done modding he'll rev to any thing.
Even buses.
Well John rev to this bus

How did he bypass the rev limiter to hit 7Krpms?

By the way the OBDII in the LS1 F-Bodies doesn't have a clock inbeded into it's programing either.

Removed it and the top speed limit with a handheld. If it don't have a clock I don't know how they knew what time, but he said that they said his time to.

T/A WS6.... 32,000+...

Cobalt SS/SC.. 25,000 at most.. plus the 2,700 i put into it... 27,700ish... not quite as much as you would have paid for your car if you did have enough to buy it new... but you didnt, and bought it what almost 8yrs later.. and are talking about beating me with mods you have in your garage... hmm.. now thats rice.. oh and by the way.. im prolly around 330 to the wheels... You should all be ashamed of yourselves, all of you. I'm going to go punish myself for reading this thread and posting in it, I recommend that you all do the same.

20's on a Firechicken, kill yourself.

It's not like it really matters but:

A fully loaded WS6 was more like an even $31,000 a std. Trans Am was around $27,000 and a formula was $26,000. A Camaro Z28 started at $24,895 and loaded was around $27,000. My 2000 Camaro SS was loaded with SLP options and had a MSRP of $33,985 my 2002 non SLP optioned Camaro SS was $27,895.
