Stock G35 Sport vs Stock 2011 Camaro SS(you'll be surprised)
Vs. Cobb Accessport Stage 2 WRX. Running 91 OTS base maps, full turboback exhaust with catted DP and CAI.
It's a stock L99 btw
Here's some pics of the G. It's 5-speed auto sedan. It did 13.6 @ 102 as best time bone stock.
It's on crappy Chinese $90 primewells, 245/40R18 rear

You guys must have had some seriously crazy negative DA going on for a heavy G sedan to run that time. Either that he has a tune you guys don't know about. Or both

I do think there is something done to that G35 though. They weigh around 300lbs more than 350Z's. bone stock he shouldn't be running 350Z times. He is probably tuned. Or he has gears, trust me I have thought about throwing 4.08's into my Z and telling everyone its stock.

And if you read the thread you are talking about on Camaro5 you can see they are all pretty much saying the L99 in that year car is a turd.

Well actually OP got mixed up. The G did not run a 13.5. It ran a 13.6 @ 101. That is a big difference. It was the Camaro that ran the 13.5 @ 104. A 13.6 is attainable, however I still think he may have a tune. His 60' is **** for him to have a 13.6.

Here is the G35 1/4 mile record for stock. 13.5 with 1.9x 60 foot. It was .1 tenth of a second away and got 13.6 @ 102
Stock 2007 Infiniti G35 S 1/4 mile trap speeds 0-60 - DragTimes.com
It can hit the 1/4 mile in 3rd gear, It doesn't have 4.08's and the 102 trap speed shows that It's making stock power.

And this is this guys time slip
He got a 2.1x 60'. It is roughly 2 tenths of a second off your 1/4 mile time for each tenth you remove from your 60'. If this guy pulled a 1.9x 60' he would have beaten that "record" easily not to mention my best run. With a 1.9 60' this guy would have been running a 13.3 or better. I still don't think its stock.
The G's weigh about 200-300lbs more than the Z's. That is 2 tenths of a second difference right there. I'm calling shenanigans. Either that this guy is the best driver on the planet, but his 60' time says otherwise about that.

The SS was in auto mode with TCS off on our runs(didn't miss a gear; can't since he wasn't even shifting), we both got crappy 2.1 60 foots.... His best of the night was .1 tenth and 2 mph faster.

So the car makes the driver lmao. Stupidest thing i ever heard. There both auto. A l99 can run 13.3 at 107. The best g35 stock run is 13.5 at 102. He was saying stock but wtv. He won but shitty driver in the ss. I'm still saying hes not stock but wtv. I like too give credit when its due. And its not the car he beat it the driver.

Like a guy said on camaro5 forum. The ss pulled hard at the end. If the guy knew how to drive he should off pulled that hard all the way. Hate to bust the g35 bubble lol.

You're right, camaros are awesome, so an auto one with 400hp should run 12s, right? Except the reality is, they are only .2 faster than a regular V6 G35 sedan. Sucks. I'd much rather drive the Infinity if I was in the market for a fun 13 sec car. If I wanted to have a drag car, i'd buy a mustang over a camaro, and i'm a chevy guy. The new Camaro has no purpose, too heavy to be a race car, too nasty to be a nice daily, and too expensive to be a budget fun car. It doesn't have a direct competitor because it doesn't match up to anything out there in enough categories to make a fair comparison.

We have a winner lol. G35 is not a mid 13 car. The op is not stock. Anybody can say there stock. For you that think a mid 13 car at 102 is gonna hang with a ss dream on. He beat the driver. And he is modded. When somebody said that the ss pull hard at the end he said he short shifted. Like come on. I can see and excuse when i see one.
