Stock SS/SC vs 97 M3 4dr
His Mods are as listed... it's a direct copy and paste i asked him via email. so please this is a future race tell me where i stand from a dig and roll...
No power mods except a K&N filter and bav auto sport coils at this point, the latter of which doesn’t do anything until I go forced induction. I did the fan delete which frees up a little hp maybe 1 or 2, and did the Zionsville radiator and samco hoses with spal electric fan in anticipation of the higher levels of stress on the system necessary when putting in the Active Autowerkes supercharger at some point.
Suspension is bilstein strut coilover pss9 kit, front rear upper strut bars, Power flex rear trailing arm bushings. In the interest of protecting the engine during high speed corners I put in a vac motorsport oil pan baffle to prevent oil starvation, and did a welded reinforcement to the front subframe where the motor mounts up as they can rip out, as well as heavy duty motor/trans mounts. I did remove the clutch delay valve and hard line
Also guys he has all season Falken's on because it is technically winter here in Philly, PA area...
My mods, I am a damn good driver and launch this balt purrrfect. he is also a 6speed i guess?

Well I just looked and the car your talking about is a 240 hp car that weighs around 3300 pounds. Figure in 30% drive train loss and your talking what 190 or so WHP. Unless this is a LOOOOONG race you should have him beat.

well I'm a bad driver and I had pulled a 97 or 99 M3 by 1/2 car at the top of second, don't know if he gave up afterward cause by the top of 3rd he was about 3 cars back. I also had stage the stage2 installed. And this M3 as a coupe. Don't know if it will help but that was me....
