So I just watched it for the first time and all those cars aren't street cars at all. Just track cars trailered to race on a street.

Wouldn't show? I am at thunder valley raceway every friday... a 14 second cobalt would be an easy kill.

Or we can roll race, but I walk 400 whp low 12 second 5.0's...

Oh because all cobalts are 14 second cars. I know of a couple that would hurt your feelings pretty easily.

Farmtruck has videos on youtube at the strip doing low 11's/10's. << Thats not fastest in the nation lol My exgirlfriends brother in law has a big block nova he was running 8's in, i guess he could claim to be a fastest street car since he trailers his too

Is anyone not concerned with on the show that they trailer these street cars to the race?

Yeah they aren't street cars. And if there is a show about it then it's staged and the police are fully aware. This is just another reality show. They picked some fast cars from the track and the writers cooked up some drama.

Yeah like all they do is bracket race. Honestly there is no reason at all they can't be doing this at a track. Track cars, they do burnouts like on a track, use a man instead of a tree but still. Pretty much drag racing. Not street racing like fast and furious style.

This thread is still going? "The List" is over ten years old. The rules have always been the same. These guys have been throwing FU money at their cars and beating all challengers from all over the country for YEARS. It's just a show. Someone took what was real and added drama.

PINKS got the idea for their show from these guys. Launches on the street are different than the track, even with a burnout. Tracks cost money. Streets are free. It's not uncommon to see a loud ass drag car with working signals and a current plate on the streets around here. We don't have inspections. Everyone who mods their car is catless. Cops generally don't pull over muscle cars. They are like Harleys. They can be loud as hell and it's okay because that's how they should be. To get pulled over, you have to do a burnout, race, rev your engine or drive an import up and down the same street with a bunch of other FNF cars on a Saturday night.

These cars can be and are driven on the street occasionally. I've seen a few of the cars in the show driven to local car shows running on drag radials. People that keep bringing up the trailer thing need to realize that many of those guys don't live next door to the track. Driving an hour to the track in a car that runs straight alcohol and gets three miles to the gallon and has expensive slicks that pick up every rock is kind of dumb. Sure it can be done but a trailer makes more sense.

A lot of their races are done at the track. There are "cash days" which are basically days where nothing is timed and the track is run backwards so it's the same as a street. That's where anyone from anywhere in the US is allowed to take the number one spot for $10K. Cash. The only stipulation is that if they don't win, they have to pay $10K. People have tried. No one has done it. Each time someone comes and loses, the cars only get faster with the money.

Now guys it's obvious that no matter what fast cars you've seen Miller's and casio's "buddies" will always be faster. It's not even worth discussing. Oklahoma has the zomg fastest cars ever!

With all this okie bragging, can they post times like Killin Time Racing with a 4.19@ 186 in the 1/8 (since the okies love the short track nonsense, and apparently love trailers). Isn't Steve a Carolina boy?

Or, maybe Kenny Hubbard will come up from Texas to kill, since he ran low 4's at almost 180 mph, since trailers are apparently allowed in this "street race".

So, um, Miller, who owns the records for street radial and overall record for fastest 1/8 mile? 10 thou is a fun little trick, but I don't seem to see "murder" written on any of those records...
