TC Gets trash talked by an 05 Celica
So driving home from the Canada day celebrations tonight, celica gt-s pulls up to me, than drops gear and takes off, I didn't follow, just slightly boosted in 3rd gear, now were heading towards the highway and this guy drops again and passes me, just straight up ricer fly by, again I just boosted a bit in 3rd and shifted into 4th normal driving...
so we pull up to a light rolls down his window and calls my car a slow piece of ****, he revs, I rev, the highway ahead is clear... I take off about 2500 rpm and give her hard, shift to second and he is already about a car behind me, NLS to 3rd and I am gone atleast 4 cars on him.. I hit my brakes shift into 4th and continue on my way, this guy decided to do another ricer fly by with his middle finger up in the air out the window as he drives by..
what class!!

i did that to a late model honda accord with a body kit but it was me pissing him off and me provking him , he got mad and try to speed up but i just wot on him and left him then when im turing into my street he flips me off hahaha

i hate people like that. try and race you, call your car slow, which in fact they know its NOT slow.

sounds a little like a GT-S story that I have. only this guy wasn't as much of a douche about getting spanked. a smile and a wave, as opposed to flipping me the bird! LOL

what a great idea! Im gonna get rid of my SS emblem and buy a LS emblem, lol. Also, good job OP, serves that guy right. He's probably in a celica forum right now saying two out of three runs he beat a Cobalt SS. Im sure the BS flags are waving in that forum, lol.

yeah the GT celica had the same engine as my vibe, a 1.8l 130hp haha but the GTS has a 2zz with lift which could be said to be similar to vtech but toyotas. They are a fast NA 4 banger..but you cant pit that against a FI SS and think you'd win hahha silly rabbits.

I'm actually a member on that website, have been for about 4 years now. I used to own a 2000 GTS with 6spd, my Wife wanted it so we got it. I cant lie though, I drove the hell out of that thing, decent power and it weighed like 2500lbs. N/A they can be fast, I've seen quite a few hit 13's with just bolt ons and a tune, kinda like the RSX-S'.

it is, they are pretty quick cars, I raced one a week ago, great guy, we chatted for a bit, but I was really impressed with it! Still ripped him apart, but he kept a decent pace behind me.
He was running full exhaust, intake and tuned, said if he had to guess he was about 180 ish at the wheels, plus the fact that its about a grand and change lighter than our car, makes it a pretty wicked little 4 banger..
Imagine that bitch turbo'd!

A few of my buddies use to have one. It depends on the year. In 2000 & 2001 they were decent quick with just bolt ons. In 2002 Toyota changed the rev limiter and the gearing (not 100% on gearing). My friend with the '05 gts would race the one with the '01 and get absolutely raped
