1. i have had 5 DSMs turbo and non turbo, awd and fwd. there is no way you beat a gs-t like that.. MAYBE a crap put-together-at-home-drunk turbo kit gs or rs... but i'd be interested to see you go up against a non-turbo dsm w/ just intake and exhaust.. i think either he was messing with you or missed a gear.
2. being a fellow 2.2 owner, with practically the same power/engine mods + the SS header, i am calling bs on the tire spinning as well.. unless you've balded out your stock continentals.
some dsms are crap on a stick because ******* fanboys get them and completely F them up, but any decent turbo DSM with a halfway decent driver WILL put bus lenghts on a 2.2 with bolt ons.

yeah as the tittle says i was rollin down fifty and this GST pulls up to me at a stop light and i ask him what he has he said greddy turbo runnin 15PSI boost so we hit green and we take off he was layin into because he was chirpin gears i had five lengths and as soon as i topped out(112) he walked on by haha, i pulled up next to him and he said he had his foot through the floorboards is it normal for an ls to crush somethin like that because we both got great starts is that normal hahaha?????
in an LS? no way manno. i work with a dude who has an LS and he always tries to race me home in my ss/sc. I dont race him, street racing is ghey. but i spank the **** outta that LS with our 93 F-250 shop truck haha...the GST driver either wasnt racing or is a super bad driver.
