TT 300zx vs 5.0
Had a lil thanksgiving meet, ran twin turbo 300zx, he said it had upgraded turbos, and was some what built, bigger injectors with supporting mods(charge pipes, intake, exhaust, FMIC, etc) 20psi
I have a '12 5.0, intake, headers, O/R Catless xpipe, 3in bullet exhaust, tune
Video will be up loaded later.. So you'll have to wait for the results hahahahaha
Sorry for the shitty lighting.. but you can still see the turnout, id say maybe 3+ cars were put on him, he was a cool guy, good attitude, he said he wanted to find out what the new 5.0 was all about.. well ..he did oh and **** 3rd gear, the barton short shifter is going to be ordered come tax return.

Well as I sit with the right tires I should hit low 11s lol, don't know much about those cars so I'm not entirely sure what power/track times he should be at

Well depending on mods, the stock turbo's have hit high 400's almost 500whp. With upgraded turbos and supporting mods 600 should be easy.
Then again, he is probably sporting some JWT "upgraded" turbos with no supporting mods and a JWT tune. Then that would be mid 400's probably and you will rape him. The Z32 was a heavy heavy beast. It makes me sad when people get nice cars and have no clue what they are doing to them

When the 300ZX was up almost every time a random person would start playing the second mine would blow off they would back off. I had one kid in a Prelude follow me home after I spanked him and sit at the end of my drive way staring at me for like 5 minutes. I motioned for him to come up and talk but he drove away. Then came back by 30 minutes later driving really slow staring

I hear ya, he seemed like a pretty logical guy, some people were saying 500whp but when I asked him he said he's not sure, maybe low/mid 400s, I texted my buddy who also ran him to see if he knew what kinda turbos he was running, no reply yet
When you gonna bring your Z out man!?

Well all my money is going to put tires on the 350 this weekend. Then I'm going to start buying parts to do the 300.
I found what was causing the knock finally. After I completely disassembled the engine lol. Either a lifter failed or a cam lobe wasn't machined properly. It completely destroyed the lifter and chewed the cam all to hell. So I decided to completely rebuild the engine again. I don't want any stray metal screwing everything up. I have to buy a new set of cams obvously, and that god forsaken turbo was leaking oil again so I'll be buying a new turbo to boot.
