saturday night. was out runnin around like usual. cruizing and other activities.

a friend of mine in his twin turbo lincoln mark 7, picked on me


him on 10 lbs, me in a band aid mode. {no timing, air pockets in the heat exchangers}

started at 60 with him brake boosting. i hit it, got the jump about half a car, held it till 105. he pulled about a car on me till 115 when we let up.

got everything fixed on my car, and then some. {evil smirk}

we both jumped on the highway, more of a redo of last night. him on 12 psi, no passenger. me on a better car, a bit more aggressive so to speak. hit it at 65. i jumped half a car again. held him off till about 110, he is slowly creeping up on me. by 120 he's a car out on me.

the 12 psi, and the tune i built for his car it went 12.32@112 mph.

for losing, im actually kinda happy

good stuff......I'm sure the spooling from the lincoln probably catches some people off guard as well haha

Pretty impressive runs, those Lincolns can be quite nasty. I used to be parts boy for a guy that built a Mark VIII with a Vortech supercharger and a few other goods. With full factory leather interior he was running low 11's.

here's his feature in Mustang 5.0, Its actually before he added the spray, so it was only running 11.70's (only!?)

Lol thats alright. i've seen many "stinkin" lincolns that would rape most gto's. thats a pretty impressive setup on that one too
