Word. A lot of bs floating around this thread.
and since when is a properly tuned SS/T a "mid 13 second car at best"? Several have hit low 13s and even touched 12.90s with traps of 108 on nothing more than a good tune.

103-105 traps with a tune? Are you shitting me?
There may not be many mid-13 second ETs in stock TCs, but there's LOTS that trap 104 easily. A tune is easily good for 107-108mph traps.

its late lol.... and i was watching a movie... kinda not really payin attention to both.....but the point is a 2.0l 4 cylinder just wont have that up top pull that a larger displacement motor will.... at around 100mph the displacement honestly starts to take over....
im not saying as soon as u hit 100mph ur car just hits a wall im saying at 100 mph ur not pulling as hard as b4..... aka gearing.... 4th gear is in most cars a 1:1 enough said...

man those things are struggling after they hit 100! it doesnt matter what size your motor is, obviously the faster you go the harder its going to be to accelerate. just admit you failed and move on

but hey those cars dont count... lol those are full on drag cars lol... jk...heck even my built suby kinda died off alil after 100... even my nissan dies off alil (compared to modded ls2s)
but u do have to admit after 100mph the ss tc does start to die off.... its just all about gearing, horsepower, aerodynamics, and displacement after that.... i mean a fully built b18 turning 13000rpms wit a gt42r in a hatch weighing in at 2000lbs is still gonna move... but a 300-350fwhp 2800lb car turning 7000rpms isnt gonna pull like that...
