stock I ran a 13.7@103.8 @ Bradenton. Ricer wing and all. Tuned with Hahn CAI, Termitune, Catless DP, and Catback straightpipe I ran a 12.7 @ 114.3. Again at bradenton. Here in AZ where the lowest alt track is firebird at phoenix. I ran a 13.4 at 110 with shitty tires and a 2.3 60 ft. (Trifecta tune, Airbox mod, Synapse catless and borla catback. The new camaro SS's were running 14.0-14.2's there (Saw one push a 13.9 @ 100.).
I ran an M3 that day and a WS6. The M3 ran a 14.3@101, and the WS6 Ran a 13.8@100. (Altitude)

G8 GT is a 103-105 traps car but from a roll the TM doesn't have much if any of an affect, so the car will be faster than what is perceived based off of 1/4 traps. I'd be willing to bet if you put the camera man in the G8, the SS/TC would pull the same, maybe a little more.

So a new Camaro (indictive of it being a M6) loses approximately 10+ mph at your DA? I would gear that more towards driver incompetance then the car/altitude. I know what altitude does to a car but that is excessive.
That isn't a shot at your times because they are pretty good, but we have seen what the new Camaro is capable of and what is actually ran by the new owners...

Also saying one thing is capable then saying the other is average is not fair. Say the average traps of the tuned TC against the average traps of a stock G8, or the highest traps of a tuned TC compared to the highest traps of a stock G8, don't one side it in favor of something else...

We raced a stock G8 vs a true tune only TC. Not a full bolt ons "tune only" TC.

I'm talking tune only. I only provided a link as a reference so forget that. There are two local TCs with a tune only that run almost even with the one in that video.
So let me break it down:
- In the video you see a tune+bolted TC run a tuned G8 GT
- TCs with tune only that almost run even with a tune+bolted TC
- The G8 GT in the video was also tuned
Therefore if the tune only TC is almost as fast as the one in that video... and the G8 GT is stock and not tuned like the one in that video... that would mean that the margin that the TC wins would probably be greater.
I'm not trying to get into a pissing fight, I'm simply using logic based off of evidence.
