Was on my way home from work tonite... finally got this alignment crap mainly fixed... anyways... was just chillin at the last light before home.. same place that I roasted the Accord in my previous thread. Windows down, roof open... just enjoying the unseasonably warm weather... not lookin for a race at all, especially not in 6:00 traffic.

So the light turns and I poke my way through the turn behind several other cars. Thankfully most of them hit the left turn lane into the elemenary school beside my neighborhood. Straight shot, so I lean on it in 2nd a little... and over my SC & exhaust I hear this amazing rumble and blow-off. "WTF is that??!!??" was my responce to noone in particular... I didn't see a WRX at the light with me.

I'm lookin all around... blind spots, mirrors, trying to peek under the wing in the rear-view... when he pulls up beside me... some dude in a decent looking blue Del Sol. He blew off again... to make sure I knew it was him. I decided to put off going home at that moment. We stayed side by side down the road... just toying with eachother in 3rd. Too much traffic to do anything. That turbo he had sounded really good... damn close to a WRX... blow-off loud as hell... he had some kinda exhaust but it wasn't the normal fart-can ricer ****. We get past the police station and up to the next light... which turns yellow as we approach. I was hopeful for a shot at this guy... though I knew with his weight advantage I'd probably get owned. Instead of stopping he downshifted and blasted off onto the side-street to the right.

A nice car overall... no gawdy rims or huge wing... some kinda mild body kit on it. I'll have to keep my eyes peeled for him from now on. Looks like there's some serious competition in the area.

i think the del sol needs a bodykit or it looks wack as hell... and thats what i would build if i was going to build a honda.

i knew a guy who's del sol was running 10's when he got rid of it. thing was bad.... black on black, with black rims

Kinda reminds me of my friends 91' turbo miata. He surprised many many people with that thing. Damn that thing hauled ass. but yea. Im glad you gave some respect to another car. To many people dont give respect to other cars, they just go it was turbocharged, but it was a honda so then its automatically gay and ricer.

Dell Sols are actually one of the heavier Honda cars surprisingly. Sweet look car though, I def think I remember seeing it around this area awhile back.
