I would have said the same thing if I still had the Cobalt.. a stock Boss 302 is a heavy hitter, unless you define heavy hitters as Corvette ZR1, 911 Turbo S and quicker. a car that runs low 12's stock @ ~ 115 mph and could break into 11's with just DRs is a heavy hitter in most people's books

yes that is wut i consider heavy hitters are zr1's and classes in that caliber..is a 302 quick? yes but not a heavy hitter in my books...but every1 looks at classes of cars differently its jus my opinion

Makes me wonder what the outcome would of been if you got rid of all that water and replaced it with methanol.

It is, but he's nearly maxed out in terms of power on the TVS & bolt ons.

Porting the head, cams, BS delete... super expensive

Only cheap way he'll pick up power is if he junks the 50/50 and goes straight 100% methanol on 24gph of nozzle.

Curious how you would of pulled against this tuned Boss 302 on that tune you ran the stock one with.

Any way to pick up the spool time on that 259 of yours?

****... be glad you guys even have options...

Only e-85 stations I have are 35 miles away from me in either a west or east direction.

I have VP100 a mile away but thats $10+ per gallon

Otherwise... 91 octane is all we have

you turned your boost down to 22 PSI; just curious how a tuned boss 302's midrange would of pulled on you vs a stock one.

still cheaper than here...

91 is $4.37

May as well read...

87 octane - for rotaries and grandmas
89 octane - mixture of water, e10 and the above
91 octane - water & e10

ohh i thought you meant like i had a different tune on the car hahaha. yeah i didn't plan on racing anyone that night, just a big meet so i didn't bother changing the plugs and turned the boost down. was probably only 450hp which is only what like 50 more than the boss? whenever i put a car and a half on the GTR i was up at 30

he was on the performance key. cause before we went out and raced he was telling us about it. the reason we went out and raced is cause he wanted to see if there was much of a difference
