Jesus Christ the car obviously is boosted why be so cryptic. Stock longblock, maxed 49s=boost. Why not just tell everyone, they know anyway.

And because sometimes people focus too much on whats done instead of just running them and so who will win. Also because sometimes people will back down if they hear whats done and they might even stand a chance. Or you get the idiot who thinks he will stand a chance when he wont.

So a lot of times its easier to just leave it all unsaid and just try to run them. Not to mention if its a money run it helps

I don't have a tvs.. Nothing off my back. Et's dont tell the whole story.did u also see he trapped in the 120's.

rofl thats funny. Bolt on ws6's and camaros run low 12's bullshit. most are low 13's. Let me tell you another thing you think your the only guy that has owned a V8 before the cobalt? Funny again. Pull all the dynos you want of the tvs up. Those are old and dated. I just went 12.0@117 last night with having issues. Trans ams and camaros arent even fun for me to run on the track or street. So pull your head out of your ass buddy.
You better be on alot of spray or built and boosted because your bolt ons arent going to get you there period

Theres been stock ls1 fbody 6 spd cars that have run 12.8-12.9's. Only reason they might be running low 13's with full boltons is at this point they are hitting high mileage and getting a bit ragged.

But Ive personally seen bolt on cars on street tires run mid 12's and thats just exhaust and lid. Hell a buddies car went 11.9 full exhaust,lid,ported intake,gears and slicks. Granted he was driving the living crap out of the car. But just because thats what you see in your area or some local kid run doesnt mean thats what they are capable of.

Then again im not worried about 117mph car
And whether your talking to me or not Im not sure.
But this isnt my first v8. Hell Ive owned 3 v8 camaros and 9 fox body cars ranging from v8's to turbo 4's.

Being a master tech for years ive built more V8 engines than probably anyone one this site. ive owned many 3rd gen camaros with built 383's on spray a few fourth gens and so on im well aware of the normal times they run without spray, boost, or a high compression build

The current combo Ive already started pulling out. But if you really want you will be able to run most of it as that engine is going into a 3rd gen for the g/f and Im sure she wont mind showing an Ion some taillights!

But seriously you need far more turbo to keep up with the current or soon to come combo.

Well very cool man. Ive built a good amount of V8's. Mostly being the old school sbc and bbc motors including 1 409 (that was a cool motor to build). Though ive never been a fan of the 383 stroker. Always preferred using a 400 block and destroking to 377.
