My next door neighbors best friend just bought an Evo MR in pretty pearl white.... ive been egging him on since i first seen it, (i didnt have stage 2 then) well one night he took it to track on a friday night while i was there he ran 13.4 so im assuming brand new car 13.4 great dirver! at this time im running 14.6's then i get stage 2 and now im at 13.8 would be better but traction is my problem... anyways i come out side to get in my car (going to pay phone bill) and they go running into there car so i smirk and follow we end up i my usual race spot delaware peeps you know my area if you hang with me... and we did 3 40 mph rolls and each time i jumped a half car on him and every time he would shift i would pull a lil more (gotta love 7k redline) then we get to the light i put the window down and he says my turn (im ) ends up he boggs out so we uturn and when there is no traffic we stop in midddle of a closed course and 1,2,3 GO! he jumped immediatly but once he shifted i reeled him back in and by the end of third my fender was past his front bumper we pull over he says great race, i told him next time we will race from 45 mph (his boost kicks in) and ill throw my brother in my car to even it out, and he will put it on video! My neighbor said if we beat him in a race he go all out on his whip so i cant wait now

so the best i could pull on him was a car and a half from a 40 but i also paid 16k for my car

it was spur of the momment, i saw them looking at my car jeremy gets in his integra and starts revving (trying to bring me out side) and in 5 mins i was out side lol plus i dont think he would have been able to use the camera, it still confuses me lol xenozx and his stupid gadgets

The evo guy has been talking crap, my brother has told him to back it up and this is the outcome of that. I even called the dude out but he has yet to race me but I would do the same if not worse.

ive beat a STi but i lost to a WRX before lol if made me really angry , he never stopped pulling i asked him what he had he said the turbo is a 80 trim i was like wow one sick ass car!

even though this evo was stock that's still kind of hard to believe.....Like you getting a jump on him from a roll!? idk, was this a 9 MR? I would definately like to see video because there was no way that when he would shift you would pull.....unless the flash on these cars really makes THAT much of a difference because I got ABSOLUTELY RAPED by a 9 with TBE, intake, MBC and a dynoflash reflash......if it's true though good kill.

I beat a stock EVO IX once, but it wasn't an MR and it had a cocky n00b of a driver. Nonetheless, I enjoyed it.

did you know a stock evo only makes 230-240ish awhp you said you raced a evo w/ TBE, intake, MBC and a dynoflash reflash that is alot of mods and could make the evo around if not more than 300 awhp this MR was stock brand new 06 model ill have it on video asap once i get a chance and when my brother is off work if not ill get mercury to take the vid

 

where do you get 230-240??? an 03-04 yes. but an 06 stock is good for 260-270hp! my 03 with a tbe, mbc@22psi, and a flash made 298hp. an 06 with the same mods will made about 330+hp. if you beat him, good job. if not, why lie?

 

no i did beat him sorry im not up to par with my years on evos and there specs but it was a stock 06 pearl white MR

Thats the point you dope. He didn't have to WASTE 30k on a car to go fact. EVO's and STi's are very cool looking but no where near the worth of a 30 - 33k car.

 

Wow, not worth 30-33k? I sure havent heard this before... To each his own man. Im very happy with my 30k car and believe it is worth every penny. You paid significantly less for your car and probly think the same. Like I said, to each his own

 

Not trying to flame you guys, but unless you have video proof, I seriously doubt that. A lot of people on here keep claiming to have beat STI's but when the vids come out, and there have been 2 so far, the truth is, the STOCK STI is about even with the GM STG 2 SS.

Pulled a stock STI this morning on the way to work, people here in Toronto can back me up on my credibility. I'm a bit too old a mature to drive around with a camera whilke driving LOL.

 

Sorry, but let's not get carried away. The 30k gets you AWD, Brembo Brakes, Enkei/BBS Rims, along with a host of other upgrades. 30k gets you a road race, track ready car out of the box. It's not JUST for straight line speed...

its hard to believe thoe peeps cant see a lsj beating a stock evo he ran 13.4 at track with a 1.8 60ft i ran 13.8 with a 2.38 60ft so what would i run if i had the same 60 ft? EXACTLY
