You have to remember my bro hs Stage 2 and Intake Header and Exaust. Hes running 13.8's currently and thats with like a 2.3 60 foot. that evo that he raced went to the track and ran a 13.45 with a 1.8x 60 foot. take off that .5 of my bro's 60 foot and he would have pulled a better time then that evo.
My race was very similar to what my bro pointed out with an STI. Basically he was moving first so I had to play catch up. Every time this dood shifted I pulled only for a moment and then we would even out, he would shift and I pulled more and then it would even out. Basically I look at it as when hes shifting he drops back to a lack of HP and we are still climbing to our 7k redline and making more power durring that timeframe. Thats how I see it but he had a head start and I was able to cut in front of him before we let off LOL. I know he was in shock. I cant wait to get this bad boy dyno'ed. I was 250 HP 220 TQ with just an exaust. Now I have intake, stage 2, and soon will have Header so who knows.

30k on an Evo is money well spent if you ask me. I'd drop 30k on 1 in a heartbeat if I had the chance. Why am I so much of a spur of the moment kind of person.. I coulda held off a few months and gotten myself an evo!!

I bought my SS/SC last year when I lived in Canada; no Evo's there. I held off on buying a new car for almost 2 years because the Mitsu dealers kept on saying that they would be getting them eventually. But I gave up. Now that I've moved to the U.S. I plan on getting an Evo within a year. There is much more to an Evo than straight speed. I fell in love with them when I went to visit some friends in Australia years ago and one of them had a brand new EvoIII. I can't wait to see what the final production Evo-X is going to look like.
Nice runs cvenom2122, can't wait to see a vid!

i got new goodies chris , got a pulley boys pulley, awaiting alcohol injection and HPT to get here. the car loves the new pulley but once my alky injection kit gets put in ill gain more power and boost ill finally get my bone stock ecu tuned in and squeeze about 10 or so more hp outta it

EVO's are insane. I probably wouldn't buy one, but I respect them and would love to take one out for a spin sometime.
They can mak insane power with little mods. One EVO (I can't remember if it was an VIII or IX) gained 40awhp and 40awtq from just a tune.

evolve: i dunno exactly, im guessing between 260whp and 275whp, with the alky injection AND hptuners tune i should be around 290ishwhp hopefully which is well over 300 to the crank. my ecu is 100% stock may i mind you right now, so deffinatly have fuel and timing adjustments to mess with. my air fuel gauge reads 100% rich even after the new boost pulley so im well rich it seems.
