Very proud of myself

Okay guys, so tonight i met up with some people i know.

A 1998 Civic EX, With Magnaflow exhuast, and AEM under the hood.
And a Volvo 780 Bertone..Old car 1990, only about 300 made around the world. It's turbo charged push around 180hp stock, but he has K&N.

Now i have a 148Hp Cobalt LT..I was suprised at how bad i beat them. After reading around here i power shifted, L,I and it worked like a charm. I was infront of them a car link! i was so happy. I have a mustang too so it's a different kind of race cause your not sure if your going to beat them ya know? i love my new cobalt, thanks everyone!!!!!

ive driven and raced against the new Si. if the driver is half decent, lightly modded 2.2 'balts will get their asses handed to them. you guys will need more than just basic intake/exhaust/etc bolt ons to beat them (think 15.0 et to get the job done) I've seen them pull 14.9 with just an intake.

what do most of the cars have on here? a 2.4L? an h22 should do the trick....hell, a b16 (1.6L) would probably rape a cobalt or two stock

VTEC > Ecotec

depends on what chassis the B16 is in... an EK chassis with the stock b16a will probly get raped or atleast very even with the most base model ecotec engines here. however, put that B16 in an EG chassis that maybe weighs 2300 lbs soaking wet and you'll have a completely different story.

"VTEC > Ecotec" spoken like a troll.

probably nothing to do with this but my family owned one of those volovs. i think that was the first time i ever heard of a real turbo (always thought it was a tv myth thing) lol. It was quick and fun while it lasted ended up swaping heads, then motor, and finnaly the computer broke so the car went bye-bye
