WHY in the hell does everyone feel the need to turn thier race compilation vids into a music vid? Seriuosly man ditch the lame music.

how did I miss this GTOs are gods car again.
I will say it again, an older gentleman runs his 06 auto gto at the local strip religiously.
Its conistantly turns 13.20s at 108 ish with a dyno tune by Bryan Hurter and a cold are intake, nothing else.
for 2 years that is what this car ran.
The only 12 second gtos I have witnessed are well modded.
One has twin turbos and a 6spd, traction is an issue with his, but hes trying.
Folks, GTOs are quick, but can be beat, period.

About 750 more then a balt and 550 more then the vet depending on model, so it's like having 2-3 larger people in the GTO. So maybe you should QFT unless you acually spout some proper information? GTO versus Vet is about half a second everywhere depending on driver. Take the best times and the more average times and it is about half a second, which is what you would expect with the same motor and 500 lbs (although one is seriously under tired)...

Retuning is not really necessary unless he is going catless and then all you do is turn off the cat overtemp protection which keeps the ECM from commanding a ton of extra fuel at WOT once the cats get too hot. There is more power to be made up top with a lot of fine tuning and some good flowing bolt on parts though. K04 is a medium size turbo for a 2.0L car. It is capable of more HP than an SRT4 neon on the stock turbo.
